I like taking the time to spray out the underside and then inspecting for damage; and then marveling at the simplicity and robustness of the chassis.

Thanks, coming from a 12 JK Rubicon (2 door), I’m enjoying it completely ?
Just saying, all that weight in the rear will cause it to sag.

It's an expensive hobby, but it's my hobby.
Yes it's expensive, but I told my wife it was ether a new Jeep or a new airplane, she defiantly said get a Jeep. The fact that a Kitfox 7 kit with a accessories is over 90K and it would take me two years to build.

I've had it since April 2020. I was still in love with it until I got a Tesla M3. Electrics have such a vast array of advantages, and Teslas on top of that do so much, that I just hate driving anything with gas engines or with less automation. I last fueled the Gladiator on 4/23, a few days before the Tesla arrived. Now it just sits.

I had mine for 9 mths. Liked it more than I thought I would and would get another if I needed a truck. Since I no longer had the need I went back to a JLU.

Totally get that. I always need a truck or a trailer for that matter. Different strokes for different folks. ?

I just celebrated 2 years and 17k miles. The only thing I really miss is a V8. I loved my old 1999 Dakota R/T 5.9.

And it's pretty amazing what you can haul in these things when needed. Here, I'm loading up a batch of scrap iron to haul away. The white pole is a steel pipe I had set up years ago when the kids were younger. Years ago, it had their basketball hoop up on it - so it's a long, heavy pipe. (don't worry, folks, I only had about a mile and a half to go with no traffic)

72k in 2.5 years, took me to Alaska and back, up and down the west coast, all over Colorado. My only complaint has been the leaking back window (fixed) and sleeping in the cab sucks :)

Sleeping in the cab of a Silverado ain't much better.............

I'm a bit envious - driving up and through Alaska - bucket list stuff.
