Hi all,
My first post to the forums, I am getting ready to install an Eaton E-locker in the stock front diff. of my 2022 Mohave, after looking online it looks like the below information for Tq and backlash is correct, can anyone confirm this for me?
Any other info from the school of hard knocks for this job is appreciated.
Thanks!

Attached is what I have for the Rubicon M210 that has the E-Locker. Specs are the same for everything else minus the E-Locker reference.

Would you happen to have this same info for the rear ring and pinion? (M220)

Beemer,
Thanks for the info, yep, I'm doing the same thing, already fabricated and installed the wiring harness and Z automotive z locker controller, installed rubicon switch, installed the Tazer mini. My E locker and shim kit got here today and Im going to install it this weekend, cant wait to try it out!

You won't be disturbing pinion settings. Backlash may vary a little going around the ring, and depending on which pinion tooth is being meshed. So the most definitive test will be to check factory backlash at several positions and going more than once around the ring to check it vs. different pinion teeth. Since the gears are already broken in, this will give you the closest match to factory settings for quiet running.

To the OP, Good luck with the install. Hop you have a lot of fun with your lockers!

For those installing aftermarket Eaton E-lockers, you have another option for a switch if you don't already have one. The Lasfit option is available. Just a suggestion only for those that didn't know.

MoJave. It's on the hood.
Hard to keep it straight- we see Mohave and Mojave all over Arizona so I I have to look at my hood every time I am writing about my JT.

To pick the fly shit out of the pepper, the difference is just the spelling difference between English (h) and Spanish (j). The actual Native American tribe prefers and uses the (j) version spelling and is considered the more correct of the two.

Reminds me of back in the mid 2000's and Ford came out with a "Amarillo" Edition F250/350 model that only came in a bright yellow. Funny watching people bitching online about how they thought the "Amarillo" name was stupid model name that made no sense and not realizing that Amarillo was "Yellow" in Spanish.
