My first and only Jeep has been absolutely awesome fun and reliable transportation for over 5 years and 62,000 miles. LOVE IT!

We have a stock TJ bought brand new in 2005 that sits at 130K with a blown trans and death wobble situation which we will be fixing soon.. We went away from Jeep for a while and got a Nissan Titan and Subaru Crosstrek which both worked flawlessly with very minor issues until we sold them at 190K and 120K.

After that, we decided to get a JT. Currently has 62K and we love the vehicle but it has had a list of issues.. It was in the shop for something like 4-5 months early last year and 2 weeks towards the end of last year. It has had ESS issues and the list of items below replaced:

Transmission, Transfer case, Driveshaft, Rear end, Drag link

All of this was covered under the Mopar warranty with a little bit of a fight.

We treat our vehicles very good, follow all the service intervals and replace items before they are worn out with upgraded or OEM parts and all of our vehicles have been bulletproof besides the 2 Jeeps we have.

With the quality of current Jeep products being similar to what we experienced with our TJ we likely will be purchasing a different brand when the warranty ends.

I would never suggest a jeep to anyone who uses a vehicle as an appliance. They just haven't reached that stage of "set it and forget it" that alot of manufacturers have where you can go 150k miles on just changing the oil (exceptions exist!).

I don't mind wrenching once it's out of warranty, like the trade offs. 🤷‍♂️

Personally, I don’t care what other people or you think about jeep. I have never had anything but good jeeps my entire life except one that was bought used and it just needed some TLC. I have owned jeeps since 1992. So 33 years of owning jeeps and one person says they suck, well, I don’t really care! Sell it and buy a Kia or Honda and move on without trashing a vehicle that holds it value better just about any other vehicle on the market. See ya at the junkyard bud!

I've had 4 jeeps since 2012 and no major issues from any one of them. Shit does happen though.

I have repeatedly stated that the culture at Jeep dealerships is not the same as the Jeep community. A lot of jeeps are DIY for this reason. I hate going to the dealer. I’ve been refused service bc my jeep is lifted 3.5 inches. 🤷🏻‍♂️. They wouldn’t do an alignment, that’s what I was turned away for.
Odd because the dealers around here sell lifted jeeps.

I also find it odd that Jeep haters, those who sold theirs and so on - are still here............

Don't think I've ever NOT owned a Jeep. Though Jeep hasn't always been my daily driver.

I've had great success with Cherokees for the wife, Renegades for the daughter. And my Gladiator is still hangin in there (but only 15K on the odo so...time will tell).

As for the stuff I've tinkered on my whole life (CJs and Wranglers).....they've always been project rigs that I build up to take out and beat up. So wrenching on them is expected. It never even crossed my mind that any of it was "Jeep's fault"

But, we are all God's children. None of us perfect. Anything built by man has the possibility of being a lemon. And when that happens, that's all you read about on the internet.

The millions of satisfied Jeep drivers are too busy using their vehicles to take the time to post every morning, "Another beautiful day and my Jeep has no problems. Will update you all again tomorrow."

jeep sucks!!! Customer service sucks!!! Everything about jeep sucks. I have no idea how so many of you guys have owned so many of them. I’m 1 and done with jeep. Spend 50k plus on a vehicle to be let down. I never even got a change to take it off-roading and it still breaks. Been in 2 different dodge shops and still can’t figure out the issue. First dealership had it 15 days to give it back to me broke and 3 days later I take it to another dealership and it has been sitting there going on two weeks and no answer. Now that it’s been going on 30 days total in shop they are sending a Chrysler tech in Monday to look at it. I don’t even want it anymore I’m done and want to lemon it. Here in VA 30 days qualifies for lemon. I really hope anyone on the fence about buying a jeep product looks the other way and purchases something different
Go back to trash bronco forum where u came from! 6 th Jeep never any problems even a few over 200k miles before trading! Whaaa waaa cry a river

Exactly. Glad yours is killing it as well as mine. I broke 75k last week and none of those miles have been easy.

exactly. rage baiting is all the rave these days.

They sell lifted jeeps next door too. i have the metalcloak upper and lower control arms and they text me stating 'we have cancelled your appointment due to aftermarket modification.' So i took it to someone else. They charged me two hours and got my camber where i wanted it. Happy camper at the end of the day.

I have not been happy with mopar professionally or privately when it comes to interacting with the dealer.

I love my POS Jeep, but when i need support, the dealer is my last option.

our techs have stated they wont install the weston lift kits on the new GX550. idk, money is money to me.

Holy thread necromancy.
Remind me to never go against you in a spelling bee and have to use words in a sentence. Haven't heard that in a coon's age. Had to think.
