Correct tire size using the odometer, not the speedometer. Drive a number of miles and compare the odometer to a true GPS and/or GPS app on your phone (but don't connect the phone to the truck)
I found things can be a fair amount off even if you believe the speedometer is ok. Speedometers round things off.
I used the Tazer and tire size. It matches up with the radar they put on the roads at work so that's good enough for me.

Since it's likely still off - you lost the right to complain about the cluster mpg being off LOL ;-)
Close enough just didn't cut it with me.

312 miles from Tysons Corner VA to Greensboro NC. Through the VA hills, trying to baby it (rarely even got to 70mph). It hurt my soul to go 55 - 65 on these roads trying to keep the RPM's down, but I did it anyway so I could break in the engine a bit (followed guidelines from the owner's manual).

Your mileage should improve a bit after a few thousand miles and an oil change.

Recent trip from S.E. PA to Niagara Falls, Ontario and back (plus driving around there for a day) I averaged (calculated) 25.3 MPG over ~1,100 miles driven. On the superslab it's cruise set at 70. That day of running around speeds were around 55 MPH tops (had the speedo set for KMH vs. MPH but still...).

This is with a stock Overland 3.6L built in 6/19, took delivery in 7/19. Just over 27K on the Odometer.

I'm averaging 16.0 mpg.

Specs: 37s, 4.88s, manual transmission, Tazer used for tire size and gears, 90% city driving

Had 4.10s before regearing; was hoping for better after regearing, guess not. At least my "mythical" 6th gear actually sees some use with the power differential. :)

That looks pretty good to me. I'm at 12.5-13mpg mixed city/highway, 4.10 and 37s. I really want 5.13s but can't make up my mind. Then I saw this yesterday. Look at the 9:39' mark. Of course he's also supercharged but still.

I like your MPG given your set up. Are you happy with your torque feel? I was really thinking 5:13 with 37s, you think that is too much based on your experience?

Oof... hearing the chunks hit the pan when they pulled the cover off.

It was a toss up for me as well on the 4.88s vs 5.13s. I ended up with the 4.88s and have been happy with that decision. The top 3 factors which pushed me to the 4.88s:
a) I don't tow
b) my off roading would be categorized as weekend warrior
c) considering the mileage vs torque tradeoff

I'll say this as something to consider; when starting movement from a stoplight I'm barely in 1st before having to go to 2nd when accelerating - and I'm not heavy footed. With this experience, I'm thinking that if I went with the 5.13s I would have ended up not using 1st gear very much and just started moving from 2nd... which probably wouldn't be a good thing in the long run.

'21 Willys, 6 speed manual, 255/80/17 (33") Falken AT3W tires and 3/4" front level.

Spend most of my commute doing 70-73mph in 5th gear. Average over the past 3100 miles has been 18.2 mpg which I'm pretty happy with.

Coming from a '13 Land Rover LR4 and 13.5 mpg this is pretty great!
