MOPAR 2" lift (2.5" in reality). Very happy. Rides better than stock. Tracks straight, feels substantial. I added a beefed up front track bar. Have Wildpeak 35" tires. Truck has the max tow package so the extra heavy tires don't feel as heavy. I see 8th gear pretty frequently. The lift retains the factory rake for hauling.

No spacer in the rear. I just used a leveling kit. Regarding the JL of my Wifes, it's a Sport and rides rough. I finally took my out off roading this weekend as it sits with just the spacer. It did pretty good but another 2-3" is in order for sure.

The Mopar or AEV lift are starting to sound like an attractive option. Price is right and I think that might be all I need. Not a tall guy either so getting in and out easily is something I have to consider.

To fit 37's I started out with the AEV 2.0 spacer lift and upgraded it from there. First things first, since I sometimes drive empty and sometimes have a big load plus a travel trailer, I added a set of Airlift airbags in back. Those continue to work perfectly. Up front, I found that I was crashing off the bumpstops a lot. Upgrading to MetalCloak's bumpstops helped, but the fact remained that the front springs were too soft and the shocks all around were underdamped.

I had to be extremely careful with ride height, however, since my garage header only gave me about 3/4 inch of clearance. I decided to go with RockKrawler's 2.5" diesel springs up front. I now have 1/8" of clearance at the highest point of the hardtop (the back edge) as long as I make sure my airbags aren't inflated. The additional front bumpstop clearance and height made a huge improvement in keeping it off the bumpstops, but the OEM shocks were still too soft.

I have always had great performance from the adjustable Rancho RS9000s on all my 4x4s, but the built-in bump zone of the adjustable Icon reservoir shocks would be even better, so I bit the bullet and bought the fancy shocks. WOW this was a fantastic upgrade. They're as awesome as they're designed to be off-road, but they're also terrific on-road and when towing my travel trailer.

The other upgrade that made a world of difference in ride and handling was the MetalCloak lower control arm brackets. These are way heavier duty than the AEV brackets I put under my JK so I'm not worried about dragging them on the rocks. Without a doubt my Jeep rides and handles way better than stock.

Thanks for all of the feedback, I bit the bullet today and took advantage of @Clayton Off Road black friday sale. Have the 2.5" overland lift coming with the HD rear spring. Also ordered the set of upper/lower control arms for my wife's JL. We did a budget lift on hers that did not include them and it has really never run or handled great since.

You will like this lift. I've had it in (minus the HD rears) since April last year. Very high quality. My shop that did the install does a lot of Metalcloak (but at the time Metalcloak did not have diesel springs). This was their first install with Clayton, and they were really impressed with the build quality. They said they could dial in the correct caster angle even better with the Claytons that with Metalcloak that they were very familiar with. It will give you a bit more lift than you might have expected.

What Shocks are you planning on running with your Clayton lift?

Two responders above are running the Falcon adjustables, ... which they have a separate part number and I'm assuming a specific tune for JTD's. When I got my Clayton lift installed back in April '22, the Falcons were still on infinite backorder so I couldn't use them, but would have if I could find them.

I was "lucky" to find a set of Fox elite remote reservoir adjustable available in time for my Moab trip, and got them installed. The thing is Fox's come with the same part number to fit anything from a gasser JL to diesel JTs... same tuning... so to work on the JTRDs you really have to crank the damping, and you are really only using about a quarter of the adjustability. They work, but really need a custom tune to work right on the JT diesels. @CrazyCooter has a thread where he's documented his journey on dialing in the tuning on the Fox shocks nicely. Now he's a guinea pig for the SDi's.

I went with the Fox 2.0 Shocks. I really want the Falcons but as you suggested they are hard to find in stock. The factory Fox shocks on my Gladiator are great and I have always liked them on my mountain bikes so I am good with these for now.

Christmas came early, Clayton lift components are in and I am hoping to find the time to install this week. Clayton Control Arms, Bilstein Steering Damper and JKS Adjustable Control Arm for my Wife's Wrangler JL and Clayton Overland 2.5 Lift (HD Rear Springs) with Fox Shocks for my Gladiator.

I'll get some before and after measurements.

I'm still buying parts for my lift. I ordered JKS Front Adjustable Coil Spring Spacer with Hydraulic Bump Stop. ACOS Pro last night. With this, I have hydraulic bump stops. Plus I don't need spring spacers. I can adjust for spring height from side to side, and for extra weight on the front.

Let us know how you like those when you get them installed. As I said, I have the fox 2.5 performance elite, which are adjustable, and have front remote reservoir, and rear piggyback. And I think the damping is a bit lite. But you can get them tuned if you need to.

Reviving this one to see what kind of options are out there. I have an overland diesel, the rear is going up 3” in a few weeks. The front claims 4 inches but they’re gasser springs. Anyone have any suggestions on a diesel 4” spring? Not looking for something that claims 4” and gives 5 1/2. I do have a steel bumper and winch going on this week too.

Don't put springs for a gas JT in a diesel. Get something appropriate. Why would you even consider something like that?

Do you really need 4"? I mean, if you're going to run massive tires, OK. Not trying to be a dick. But wanting you to be honest with what you actually need. Otherwise, you're going to have a truck that might "look" sweet, but will ride and perform like a $hitbox.

The AEV regular load springs are going to be over 3". You could always add a small spacer. The AEV HD springs will give more height if you aren't VERY loaded heavy in the front.
