I know this has been discussed before but the other threads are older and maybe it's time for a fresh look...

A lot of people have installed Rockblokz, Weathertech, or Mopar mud flaps, but... the prices! Seems absurd for a glorified sheet of rubber; yes, I know there's more to them than that but still...

At the other end (and I still may go this route) are homemade flaps cut from sheet rubber or generic truck flaps.

A search finds some lower cost options so I was wondering if anybody here has any experience with these or similar:

Extreme Terrain has their RedRock Molded Mud Guards for $59.99 but although they're listed for the 20-23 Gladiator, no matter what submodel you pick (in my case a Sport) they then say they won't fit.

There are these universal Rally Armor flaps for $23 - $44.00 depending on length. They don't say what they're made of, just "UV-resistant black poly-blend plastic" They also have them in urethane for $143. No hardware is included and drilling is required.

Moving on to amazon, there are these for $57.99. They do say they'll fit the Sport, but not the Rubicon. Material is given as carbon fiber ABS.

Also on Amazon for $59.95 are these. They also say they fit the Sport but not the Rubicon or Mojave. They look nearly identical to the ones above, but say the material is PP (Polypropylene) + TPO (Thermoplastic polyolefin).

I know, you get what you pay for, but the bleeding has to stop somewhere... I don't intend to do any extreme offroading (BTDT) but I've already coated the sides of my truck with mud after splashing along a dirt road, and then there's New England snow and slush coming. If I have to trim the fronts to fit around the Westin HDX running boards that's no big deal.

Rokblox…. Price sucked… totally agree- for what you get it doesn’t “feel” worth it…. They do the job, and do the job really well, so ??‍♂ guess in that sense they are worth it. ?

Rokblokz here too, front and rear. I don't feel they should cost as much as they do but as mentioned, they work very well. The front set keep my hinges and fenders looking good and the rear set keeps rocks off the travel trailer.

RokBlokz size “original” front and rear. With rock sliders and full top plates, I have eliminated damn near all of anything hitting the Jeep. 99.9%, if I have to put a number to it. Expensive yes, but absolutely worth it and look the best IMO.

You'll forget about the price of the Rokblokz after you've had them for a little bit. I run a modified set with Overland side steps and they work great. The rears also keep the inside of the rear bumper from filling up with slush/snow & mud.

Not the JT, but I bought a set of cheap Mopar knock offs 4-5 years ago for the JL.
Basically that is what seems the Amazon and Red Rock are.

A fraction of what the Mopars were (They were $27 shipped back then off ebay) and they have held up and work well.
Would have done the same with the JT if it wasn't for the rock rails. They wont work with rock rails

Rokblokz.

For the most bang for your buck
buy only the front ones.

And I could get them in Rubicon Red
with cutouts for the OEM rock sliders.

Yes Rockblokz are offensively overpriced for what you get-- to the point where they give you the middle finger if you ask them why. But until someone starts making something similar, they're your best option.

Fan of RokBlokz for the front to keep vehicle cleaner. They look good and are easy to remove as well if needed.
I'm annoyed no one makes front mud flaps that fit the wider performance steps/rails. I like the wider steps for the added rock chip protection, but I'd still like a mud flap.

I swapped performance rails on my Mojave and just pushed the RokBlokz flap front, to about vertical position works fine and I have removed them a couple times while wheeling. I’m a RokBlokz fan,and did not think quick removal was a need but it is and they come off quick . I think the OP would be good with what I consider the RokBlokz knockoffs without hardware and figure it out if the money is the big thing, or just a molded set as he isn’t going to take them off.Jack

When you have a second, could you take a photo of what you have set up on yours? I'm having a hard time picturing it.
