I’m another one too cheap to be paying RB prices for a pice of plastic.
‘I ended up going to my default supplier, Weathertech and could not be happier. Here’s a picture after just completing the Rimrocker trail…

Man! Must be the angles of the photos or something. Gap between the fender and tire looks significantly more than a 2” and 37’s.

Looks good. ??? folks just ordered a sarge green far out aug 4th- anticipated delivery December 25th… 37’s are sitting ready w/2” on stand by ?? will have to show for reference.

I don't have the technical data, but it seems the Mopar Lift adds more than 2"... it seems to vary between model as well.. mines a JTRD.

A lot of old pickups around the Olympic Peninsula have these retro looking (prob are) mudflaps that say “Washington” with a mountain and tree graphic. I’d love a set of those if they could be found.

If jeep can get my truck repaired, living on a gravel road the wild peaks are perfect for picking up a magazine of rocks that fire out over the next 5 miles once the speed picks up.

I’ve got chips all over the rear door hinges and I pray for folks following too close. Just one of those trade offs for a big ol wheels poking out.

The Rockblokz arrived for Big Blue yesterday. I put them on last night. This is my third set (JL, wifeś JL, and now JT). These are regular size, regular length.

Do either Rokblokz or Weathertech work with RSE side sliders (retractable)?

What size RB look best on stock JT? Thinking the wides and longs are more for lifted/wider tire JTs.
That's kind of up to you. Some people like flaps that stick out, and some people don't like that. Yes, the wide/long are more for vehicles with a lift and/or wide tires.

What I ended up with was the XL/Long RokBlokz, but I trimmed both the width and length to make them exactly the size that I wanted. They ended up a little wider than the Regular/Long, but the same length as the Regular/Long. And I no longer have that horrible looking RB logo on the flaps.

In response to question about fitting the Mopar performance rock rails steps.

RockBlokz regular width long on front and Regular width regular on rear. The front is bent but no hole through flap, still comes off easy. OP congrats on your choice they will be fine! …..Jack

Nice close-up photos. I'm hoping to add the performance rails soon as well to the RB's mostly to keep rocks off the hinges since removing the hinge protectors. I thought they were about as wide as the fenders though, looks like they're about half that?

Yes not that wide but they are a solid step, pretty well made finish is good. I walk back and forth on them when putting kayaks or rods on rack. I had Rough Country steps on and the driveway stones were still hitting them, and I started wheeling and the steps would have been destroyed already. I went with regular long to help knock the stones down better…..Jack

XL Long, the largest I could get.
Same width as Mopar fender extensions.
Even with stock wheels and tires,
if you turn the front wheel
stuff is flying up in the air
and given a bit of a crosswind
one may get cow poop on the door handle.
Don't ask me how I know that.

Rockblokz here too. Expensive but indestructible. The mounting hardware will rust so check it yearly.
Not indestructible. I was running miles and miles of desert 2-track and appreciated having my RockBlokz installed to help keep the flying rocks somewhat under control. But I got lazy when I found a nice box canyon to play on some bigger rocks. I managed to get one of my RockBlokz pinched between a boulder and a tire as I was backing up, and partially tore it. I was able to repair it when I got home with a plastic welding repair kit, but the lesson was learned: remove the flaps before playing in any serious rock gardens.

I got the mud flaps mounted this morning. These were the inexpensive ones from Amazon, oddly they say "Weathertech" in the description but I don't think they are (but they're similar). If I'd waited until today I'd have saved $12, there's a 20% black Friday sale.

They're flexible plastic, not rubber. I have no illusion that they'll hold up to serious rockcrawling abuse, but that's not on my agenda right now. Installation required drilling holes in the plastic fender liner. I did not have to remove the wheels as some have said, but that might have been necessary if I didn't have a right angle drill. About a half hour for all four.
