Continuing to practice aluminum welding. Built a better winch controller mount.

Still room for improvement, but I’m getting a better handle of AC frequency and my welds are solid. A little too solid occasionally.

Welding looks so easy watching a professional---then you do it and look like a first grader.....yours look pretty good.

The JT isn’t low by any means, but the open tailgate on my Mojave with 35s is about 9” lower than the open tailgate was on my stock RAM 2500. HD trucks are really on a different scale.

That lifted SuperDuty must require a running jump to get into.

Hah, no, the Ram was just enormous. This is my 5’2” wife standing next to it. If she walked back next to the bumper the bed rail was above her head. Those stock tires are 34s.

Just take it slow. The whole axle is trussed and gusseted and there hasn’t been any problems.

Finished version 3 of my air system mount.

Much more stable than the last one, easier to lift out. My welding was also better!
