So, it seems these 2023 gladiators were not the best quality …
Overall sounds frustrating. Wonder though, is this part based only on your Jeep's issues, or do you have data that supports there 2023s have higher-than-historical defect rates?

I’ll make a list of all other quality issues, but this is unacceptable! Especially when my first (of 3) 36k gladiator was flawless!
I would be interested in hearing about your other issues. Agree, bummer you are seeing issues.

Woah, I never pushed my tank that hard, always 17 at most. Supposedly our tank is 18 gallons … but I am currently on stock rubicon mud terrain tires. My gladiator rubicon on stock tires is about the same as my 80th anniversary on 37in KO2s and a Mopar lift.

So this 2023 Gladiator I cannot get more than 25mpg, which is good, but not like my last one. My last one got 30.2 going from Phoenix to Albuquerque at 75mph, and when I got home the 1100mi trip was saying an average of 29.7mi.

Is it possible that the falken wild peak MT are tat much worse than the stock 80th anniversary tires? I upgraded my LJ 32” KO2 with 33x10.50 KM3 mud terrains and the mileage is the same.
Tires can definitely play a role in economy both pattern and weight. But you’re tracking less than what I get and I’m rolling a 37.

I wouldn’t say pushing the tank for 18-18.5. The light is literally just coming on. Can follow up in a month or two when artech skids are installed. I have a haunch that we have 20 gallon tanks with 1.5-2 gallon reserves as a HPFP safety…..

I’ll report back with what the dealer says. Imm probably take it in Friday for “the list” and an oil change.
Some people just… never learn.

For what it's worth the 23 gladiator was ranked number 1 in initial build quality by JD Powers.

I can't believe we are all sitting around waiting on a picture of this guys toolbar or rollbar, whatever he is calling it today.

Come on man, the suspense is killing us. Even a blurry pic will do.

You have to ask that? Heck yes!

Changing tire weight, width, going to a more aggressive tread, absolutely.
I lost mpg just going from my stock tires to 3/4" wider A/Ts - of the same diameter and weight.
Tread matters! Width adds to rolling resistance.

So I guess we could sum it up, all in fun - with a DUH ?

So far, mine is testament to that....the only issues have been front shocks leaking (I have to wonder - could the weight of a snow plow have played in their demise???) and the weird hot restart misfire which was not a quality control issue, but my PCM sat in the corner wearing the dunce cap and refused to learn the CCDIFF - we we had to slap it on the palms of its hands and tell it to try again. and it did. No misfire.
As of 18,000 miles, some cross-country, some towing, very good quality.
Not saying "it's always going to be perfect and nothing will fail" but - quite happy at this point. Panels even line up. That's just crazy.
