I'm pretty sure they probably used urethane adhesive for the rubber molding. I'm curious did they also glued to the top or it's sealed by compression?

Talked to the glass company. Super nice, professional guy. He said that gasket is something they did themselves, it needs to applied BEFORE the glass is installed, using the correct sealers etc. Not something we do it yourselfers can add. He indicated the process to replace those windows is a total pain in the ass and that they usually end up leaking again. He also said it is very easy to scratch the top when removing the glass. There is no new, revised part. If the part # has changed, it's just usual Jeep part number incrementals.
I called as well and confirmed the same information you stated above. They added the gasket when replacing my window knowing it’s poorly designed. The dealer was clueless as they just dropped it off with the new window to install.

Well you've got the best window install on any Gladiator ever built! You're good to go.

@JeepCares I noticed today that water is coming through my rear window.
As much as I am sure the preceding 50-pages of this thread may answer it—will this be covered by my Mopar Extended Warranty now that I am outside of my 3-year warranty?

It is raining here…. I had to run out to inspect my new Mojave (2022).

All dry inside for now.

I would say no it is not covered if it falls under their listed exemption "glass". I would double check that against any copy of terms and conditions that should have been given to you when you bought the plan.

I went the vacuum hose route. Took me 30 mins. It’s supposed to rain tomorrow so I’ll report back.

Well, the replacement rear window made it a year, now it is leaking again. Thankfully still under warranty, but this is ridiculous. Top was damaged by dealer last time, now I have to go through this again. Unreal. @JeepCares, what is Jeep doing to keep this from happening? Is there a new design/fix? That class action lawsuit is looking more appealing.

I used this to fix my leaking issue and it's been leak free ever since: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BKEBO0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

It's a poor silicone job by whoever installs the glass, that's what my issue was.

I cleaned out the gap between the glass and hard top, to get out all the dust, dirt, ect... with glass cleaner and a paper towel. Put the silicone sealant in hot water to warm it up, so it thins out even more. Then just squirt it in the channel between the glass and hard top, back and fourth. Let it seep into all the nooks and crannies that the OE silicone missed. It dries clear, so you won't even know it's there.

Give it time to dry and you should be all good.
