Yeah, notice that also with my recent Willys purchase that the SFTA has dropped off being available and it has the Continental TPM system.
It's not listed on jeep.com anymore for gladiators. It still is for Wranglers though. It says the off-road pages is gone too, but still on the Wrangler. Must be cutting some costs.

Current order guide shows SFTA as standard equipment across the board but that is obviously not the case it seems.

SFTA is low hanging fruit to remove to get vehicles built and on dealer lots due to the chip shortage. Other brands are also de-contenting their options and features for the same reason.

Had SFTA on my 2020 Gladiator Rubicon but never really used it, so I am not miffed about not having it.

For those of you that don't have it on your June '21+ build, do you have the "Continental Tire Pressure Sensor" on your window sticker?

They switched TPMS providers in June and I believe the Continental units do not support the tire fill protocol.

I recently went through a lot of pain to get the right sensors due to this switch and believe this to be the issue.
I have a July 21 build and do not have the SFTA option. One my window sticker it does not say "Continental tire Pressure Sensor", it is listed as "Location Specific Tire Pressure Monitoring Display"....I also have the AUX switches as an installed option.

I guess I've never understood this option. There's no way it can be easier to set this feature up and use it compared to just sticking a manual tire gauge on the valve stem quickly.

Also, the TPMS sensors go into "sleep mode" when the vehicle is parked for a certain amount of time to conserve battery power, correct?

It's not really an opinion as to how easy it is to use or not, but more of a question of, did we think we were paying for something that we didn't receive. Nor did we receive an discount for not having it as advertised.

You have to enable every time you want to use it. It's not a sleep mode. It disables every time you start the vehicle. Personally, I love the feature, though. There's not much set up to it. Takes about 10 seconds. It remembers your presets, so you don't have to set the pressure each time. I like it because i don't have to stop airing up/down periodically to check with the manual gauge. Just keep airing down until it beeps. Much quicker. Now is it a deal breaker if I didn't have it? No, but I'd be upset if the vehicle was advertised as having it, and it did not.

My sentiments exactly. I really like this option, though I wish I could just leave enabled.

I am looking for a set of TPMS sensors for my aftermarket wheels.... I do not know if my Glad-Rubicon has the STFA function or not (10/2021 build I haven't taken delivery)... I know the TPMS sensors changed in 06/21... so I'm not sure which are the correct ones. I don't want to pay a premium for a set that has the SFTA if I don't need it, but I do want to keep the same type that comes on the OEM wheel. If you look at the pic, the sensor with the STFA function is on the left. Do you remember what the part# was and what yours looked like ? Part number I found is 68339096AB and I believe this is for the spare wheel without the STFA function (pictured on the right)

I think its really geared for when hitting the trail to do a quick and easily air down ... and get confirmation once you hit your desired PSI... Im with you, Ive got a nice backlit brass gauge with a deflater button... not to hard.... my issue is I need TPMS sensors for aftermarket wheels and I don't know which ones to get ??

This system has no purpose. Buy 4 Staun delflators. No onboard TPMS gimmick compares.

The one on the right is the continental sensor.

I have both sitting on my toolbox if someone wants them Ended up mis-ordering so I have both.

I agree... just stating that in an off road situation, where weight is a factor and people tend to pack their vehicles light, needing no additional tools to accomplish an airdown could prove useful.... especially in a dark situation, you can listen for the horn instead of trying to read a wet, muddy tire gauge..... but agreed, kinda gimmicky and me personally, I'll stick to my OG gauge.
