I'll gladly place my families lives over anyone attacking them unprovoked. If you wouldn't, I feel bad for your family as I'm certain they'd assume you'd do the same. Back to my earlier scenario that I've never gotten a non-violent answer too from anyone, come home and someone's raping your daughter, turn the other check? Leave it in God's hands? Hang out and watch? Run away and can for someone else to stop it (still supporting the violence just too much of a coward to do it yourself)? Of course not. Punch, kick, stab, shoot, or anything you can, as violently as you can, to stop the monster. If your god has a problem with that he can burn in hell with him.

You can stop someone without killing them. Kind of the whole point. I know in America the go to is to kill first and make an excuse for it later but that’s how we end up with these situations.

Pretty sure there are more Bible verses about non-violence than there are albout killing. What's your non-violent way of stopping someone?
And with our quality "justice" system they'll be out long before their victim even begins to heal from the life changing trauma. Not to mention she'll get to relive the trauma on public display in court just to get a conviction that still has the guy our doing it again in no time. Your Bible will disagree with the vengeance part for sure, but I'll take my day in court over watching my daughter get questioned and relive the attack in front of the monster will he gets off to it. Hard pass. I'll trade my life be it defending my family to the death or getting more time in prison than the rapist gladly any day. There's no rehabilitation for people who sexually assault women and children period.
