Is the fender gap an issue with all the models or just the rubicon? The rubicon does have that wide v-grove at the fender seam where the sport and overland are more of a flat seam. I wondered whether the rubicon fenders were having issues with sand or leaves and pine needles working into the fender gap before i even saw this post. The tubing seems to be a good resolution. Reminds me of the old cars that had a gasket between the body and the fender - vw bugs were like that.

With the doors closed the steps look to be in the right position. Are they uncomfortable to use/step up and into? Maybe post some pics of the doors open so we can see?
they are definitely installed correctly. Could they be set back a bit more perhaps, but after using them for a few days they seem to be right where they should be. Easy in and easy out. And millions times better than without them, even my long legs struggles at times hopping in and out.

Added a Line-X bed liner, trail rail system, and Rugged Ridge Hard Rolling bed cover this week. Happy with the results

How do you like the hard rolling cover? I am trying to chose between that and the tri-fold Linen-x cover.

Installed a dead pedal bought off amazon for a wrangler jk; seems to fit, but it was a major pain to install. They must have tiny little xmas elves doing this stuff. Also installed a fire extinguisher rollbar mount in the rear passenger driver side.

I have been thinking about ordering a dead pedal. Was the PITA with install just getting yourself in there to do the work? Other than the install issue has it made driving more comfortable?

not even being a smartass this time.
Is there any possibility they're on the wrong side?
Kinda looks like the longer space on the front would line up about right on the back door.
just askin...

Heard back from N-Fab they said it’s the right way. IDK I mite take them off and try them on the other sides

that would put the front step even closer to the front of the door. I assume it’s not comfortable because it’s too far forward right.

I was looking at these myself. But this makes me reconsider
Yeah there to far forward need to be back 4” or so

The reason I threw that out there was looking at the rear door, the rear step didn't look lined up, I get the thought of the step further back, but also thought the step should be lined up with where your foot would cross over the rocker getting in and out.
