Sunday did Dishpan Springs. Think it is the hardest trail in Big Bear that I know of.
Did pretty well but took out my already-broken taillight on the Gatekeeper, and once I was past the last/biggest obstacle at the end I somehow got totally turtled on a big boulder positioned right after a squeeze.

That looks amazing. Someday I want to try that one now.

Been there a few times through the years.
We took the Wrangler there while it still had the temporary plate. Went north of the Peter Iredale and ended up getting stopped by the sheriff. Didn't realize that area was closed for the season. Officer was really nice and just warned us and told us to be careful and have fun.

Haven't had the Gladiator out there yet, just up north on Long Beach, WA.

So I gather. I have it up at Zero Declination right now having a solar system installed, and Jaime from Catapult is doing their floor system, and a cover for the electronics.

my garage is so full of Jeep parts I can’t get to the good tools. So I’ve made a makeshift bench and building it on my driveway.

Went to the local flea market, picked up some garden plants. Turns out, this is the same location seen in fairly recent tiktoks.

This was last Saturday but it took me some time to chop and publish the video.
Two of us wheeled John Bull and Holcomb Creek BOH trails in BIg Bear.
Something went wrong with my JB video and the memory card was empty so I only have the HC video to post.
This was the first time on both of these trail for both of us so we learned a lot about easing over boulders.
Except for bending a rim that popped a bead I experienced the expected scraping on the underbelly which is why I have lots of skid plates.
Once I fix my rim and clean up the scrapes I’ll be ready to go back and build on this experience.

Edit: I forgot to add that we did both trails in one day starting at 8am and ending at 9:30pm. The night ride was actually pretty fun. By that time I was in the zone and it went really smooth. Especially the west end gatekeeper for the finale.
