Myself, out of a mudhole, but it won't happen again with this bumper as delivered, this is a Barricade Trailforce HD btw.

Bolts sheared, or did the bumper winch plate fail?

Bumper failed, too thin, maybe wrong grade.

I have a CNC plasma table and I could fix this, but honestly don't want it on my Jeep now.
I wouldn’t either. My bumper, which has been modified a bit, was guaranteed to not distort up to 12,000lbs of pull. I’d look for a bumper that’s rated for what works for you.

I finally got to use my winch for something besides pulling stumps. Over the weekend, I ran Peddlers Glory with some friends (video of the trail from last time I ran it), and my buddy got his JK on 37s so high centered on a log that all four tires were off the ground. A quick tug from the Apex 12k got him headed in the right direction again.

It was not today, but the last time I used my winch was a couple weeks ago and I assisted in removing a driver door from a Chevy Equinox involved in a head on with a 3/4 ton Ram.

I was instructed by an off duty EMT as we were first on scene and Emergency services were 10-15 minutes out. Do not do this without emergency professionals. I only provided the equipment.

Long story short, the driver survived though they had life threatening injuries. Emergency services did a fantastic job.

Good work. If you’re not occasionally winching, you’re not trying.
I was trying twice as hard then. Since I ended up winching about 5 yards before that also. I didn't move far enough to even hook to a different tree.
Rotten spring snow, was about 2.5 feet deep there. I do love playing in the snow.
