We add some ballast to all our plow trucks at work. Makes a big difference in handling, especially when the plow is up. You should think about putting a rubber flap/deflector on the top of your plow.
fisher snow flap setup 005.1.jpg

Really makes a difference with snow blow over.

On another note, you can get clear lenses for your outer marker lights on the front fenders.
Edit-looks like @Scrubb84 beat me to it.
My work truck when I worked at the power plant.

Wow, what a compliment from a well respected member such as yourself. I appreciate that very much, thank you!! The lights emit a very visible white light during normal operation. When the turn is activated the white turns to amber and the amber strobes on and off. Upon t/s cancellation it "switches back" to solid on white. It functions exactly as the bulb drl setup which drops the drl when the t/s is activated. Funny thing is the wiring setup from Rugged Ridge came with 3 options for wiring.
1. With factory led with switchback
2. With out factory led (halogen)
3. With factory led without switchback
My truck 100% came as option 2, halogen lights and bulbs. But when I wired it as such the new drl only came on with the headlights. So I wired it as option 1, led with SB, and the drl's function as they should, independent of the headlights. I figured maybe fca changed something in the wiring on the 21 model year but who knows. My truck definitely did not come with the factory led package. When I get a chance I will take a short video of the lights in operation.
#1 is exactly how I'd like it if making choices like that.........

I noticed that the DRLs on my 2022 (LED) operated differently from what's described in the 2020 manual.

My original 2020 manual said "automatic transmission in any gear other than park" or something like that, then December 2020 version of the 2020 manual it reads like the 2022 manual.
I recall checking the lights when I got the plow all hooked up and it deviated from the original owner manual.

I got the Morimoto side markers as they were a bit cheaper than the diode dynamics. They make amber, clear, and smoked. I also have the matching morimoto turn sequential turn signals.
I had wondered about smoked - when I had my last WJ I was looking into replacing all of the front lights due to age and clouding, etc.
Wonder how smoked would look with the blue, though. Better than the amber I suspect.

We add some ballast to all our plow trucks at work. Makes a big difference in handling, especially when the plow is up. You should think about putting a rubber flap/deflector on the top of your plow.
After loading up the plow the first couple of times just to test things out, make sure everything fit in the garage and all, I noted that I had to REALLY feather the throttle getting up the gravel hill from my shop to the neighbor's driveway (also gravel - and he's PICKY) to get to my garage - otherwise the rear tires just spun gravel. No way I was even going to try it with no weight in the rear.
I think the weight in the rear is one reason mine handled so very well on the road today in all the driving we did shopping and running errands. It handled great. (mentioned in other thread "what did you do WITH........")

I don't know about the deflector part yet. It's an option (not a cheap one) from Western. We'll see- maybe as soon as tomorrow night or Thursday night.
EDIT - WOW, just priced these things - $300+ depending on where you look for a strip of rubber and metal retainers. Wonder about buying some in bulk and drilling my own holes.

Edit: I’ve had these on my JT for 2 years now. Love them. Only issue I had…I popped the lens apart on one when I was banging ice off the fender when it was -22* out one day. Had to get a replacement.
I have their fog lights in this truck - actually had them in my other and transferred them to this one - and they are solidly built, work nice.

LOL - you guys are convincing me now I have to go out when it gets above 0 and see how much work is involved in replacing them.

We buy it by the roll, 8x1/4 inch should work, then cap it with 2x1/8 flat bar. It will be a bit more work, but should safe a bunch over those $300+ kits. Just look at Rusty PW's pic and you'll see why I suggested it.

If all your plowing is your driveway and only doing like 10mph or less it might not be an issue. We plow hwy and secondary roads.

Installed a Fox through shaft stabilizer, had to work on the top two holes in the mounting bracket, which was a bummer. I had read some reviews where other folks were having trouble with hole alignment and my case was no different. Think the engineers at Fox need to loosen up on their tolerances and test fitting their parts to keep quality control in check would be a good idea too. Regardless, armed with an old Bridgeport, short work opening those holes and the rest of install was a snap.

Got some some new rims too, but it will be some time next week for those.

Universal kits ~$100 on Amazon…. Just the rubber for less.

Now that you've had this kit on for a couple of months how do you like it?

I'm wondering if you used the control arm geometry correction brackets or ended up using adjustable control arms? I've got the kit ordered but the local shop is recommending I go with adjustable control arms, at least in the front to get the castor dialed in.

Same thing here. This was one of those, "it's only a few bolts, it'll only take me a few minutes to get done before I go to work" turned into "goddmn, none of this sht fits. Wtf! sht, I'm fckn late for work!"

Hahaha.

Ever since I swapped the ball joints on my JKU, my wife pads the time for me. Hahaha

But yeah, happened last weekend when I tried to install rancho shock skids on my JTR. Easy install turned into a project with cardboard template, angle grinder and painting.

I got rid of the JKU because it became too much of a project. Only easy installs on the gladiator I told her.

Hahaha.

The wife has seen me wrench for 10-16 hours in a clip, so she's got both quick and long job timeframes thankfully.

So far, I havnt done much to my gladiator, its all been simple stuff.

Heck, easiest exhaust install I have ever done. Hack, impact , remove, anriseize, impact, done. Was like an hour tops, lol.

I'm only a few mods away from all the easy stuff being done. That's when promises become very loose/vague passing dialogue, lmfao

Ugh, mod addictions. Jeeps and mustangs, too much aftermarket to tempt me!

Added some Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MTs (35x12.50R17) on Method 703 +25 offset 17x8.5. Love the look with no lift. Also, added the Mopar grille gaurd and a Bak Revolver X4S. A winch is still on the list, and I’m done for a little while. That’s what I told my wife anyway ?

Upped security!!

Installed the security bypass cables and J scan changed some stuff! Those cables are very easy to get to, after reading people complain about getting to them, I expected them buried in the dash. They are literally right there by the OBD port. Thankfully easy!!

Wrapped the hitch skid in Kydex. Had to take off the top wrap around, so installed it as just a 90 degree piece. Tapped it in with a deadblow, just tapped, not full send, lol

NO RATTLE!!!
