What I am saying is there are plenty of folks running he Mopar lift as is with no track bar and no problems. When I started researching lifts the folks that have installed Mopar lift report needing only a 1/4 inch or so of adjustment. That being said, even Clayton only recommends their track bar be set at 5/16" over stock for a 2.5 inch lift and 15/32" over stock for a 3.5 Inch lift. It’s needed. Simple geometry says so. That is, unless you want to lift it and have the body shifted over about an inch or so afterwards. It’s worth it.
Don't get me wrong, I will be using an adjustable track bar and I'm not saying don't use one or that it doesn't fix the geometry offset to perfectly center the axle/drive shaft.
The main reason the 2 Inch Mopar lift gets panned is the price you are paying for the limited amount of parts you get and are basically paying an up charge for a fancy box and Fox shocks.
