Have any of you with Mojave's and the OEM steel bumper/Warn, found that the ride is much more harsh/stiff? It feels like the shock has a different valving after the bumper/winch install to me. Even small bumps are much more jarring.

See if you can source the 2024 Mojave X springs and whether or not they are compatible. The Mojave X has steel front and rear bumpers same as a loaded Rubicon so I'm sure they altered the springs for this hopefully they did not change the shocks

I thought that after I installed my winch and RR Arcus that it would ride rough but strangely I can't tell that it is there ?

As much as I'd like a steel bumper on my stock suspension Mojave, this is why I am sticking with the factory plastic one. If I do upgrade, It'll probably be an aluminum bumper.

Do you by any chance know the weight difference between the factory plastic bumper and arcus, sans winch?

The RR Arcus weighed about 70 lbs, the winch about 67 lbs and not sure what the OEM plastic bumper weighed but I did measure the before and after height from the fender and it sits a 1/2 inch lower.

Not sure if you added the steel bumper or not but that is about a 60lb difference from the plastic bumper. Depending on the winch plate you added that's another 35-40 lbs. The Warn Zeon 10s is about 100 lbs. It's probably got your suspension sitting in a compressed position since it's not been engineered for the added weight.

I added the same winch and the Warn plate, (I already had the steel bumper off the lot), and it took a 1/4" out of my front end. I run the AEV 2.5" lift kit and it's designed for that weight to be there. Stock suspensions are not designed for that purpose.

Good luck with your suspension upgrade plan!

My thought as well. I'll be reading the thread on the MP Concepts aluminum bumper, and looking at other options, if the bug hits me enough. 41lbs shipping weight, so not far off from plastic. Winch/plate is where the weight would come from.

I added the ARB Stubby and a Warm M8000s to the front of my Mojave. I also added a 1 inch Teraflex front spacer and a Daystar 3/4 inch rear spacer along with 35's, Mopar lift lower front control arms and a pass through stabilizer. I hit the bump stops less now than when stock. I think you could add a 1/2 inch front spacer and be close to stock feel again! I do like the idea of finding some Mojave X fronts, will be curious to see those when available.
