I can now be more stupid in my choices now right?
In reality I go off-roading by myself more often then not so nice to have a recovery method. I'll be switching out for synthetic at a later date.

Nah, not "more stupid", now you can go farther into your adventures. No more turning around or taking bypasses

There is so much truth in this.
I remember when I got my first winch some 30yrs ago. I went from trying stuff that I was 90% sure I could make, to doing stuff I was only 10% sure I could do.
But I always made it home, sometimes with lots of winching. And I became the one my buddies called in the middle of the night, cause they were stuck. Nothing but good times have come from that first winch purchase.

I couldn’t agree more. For me, winch was first, then lots of skids. Since I knew I could get through tough obstacles, I then wanted to protect my suspension and drivetrain.

Over the past week, Body Armor rear fenders and inner liners, overhead Molly panel and fire extinguisher. Got cussed out for calling VFD Christmas Eve by drunk lady whose home would have burnt if fire from cigarette butt thrown out in leaves had continued up through woods. I’ll just stop, hit it with extinguisher and go on next time. Maybe.

No Jeep work today. Probably not tomorrow either. My poor friend isnt doing well. Just a few months ago she ripped out the left eye due to some infection and I got her all healed up. Now her right eye is blind. Trying to capture he and get to a rehabber. Poor thing will be a NR now. I just hope she doesnt have babies in a nest.

How much of a lift did you do to fit the 37s? BTW how much to the mud flap help? I have about 1.25 poke and want to save a bit of cleaning time on the doors ?
I've had the AEV 2" lift on since around May of this year. Supposedly that should be enough for the 37s even with the front swaybar disconnected.

I've had the mudflaps on almost since day one with the stock 33s, so I dont have a good before/after comparison. I will say I haven't had much of a problem with mud and dirt on the door handles with the stock wheels/tires with them. The new wheels and tires definitely poke out past the mudflaps now though, so only time will tell whether it becomes more problematic.

Hey brother here are a few pictures. Not the best quality... you can see the marker light is very visible. The strobe function is very noticeable to trailing vehicles. The white backup light also sheds lots.of extra light although in the rain the backup camera is the limitation.

Had to install new tires for a road trip. Switched from 37x12.5r17 Trail Grapplers to same size Baja Boss A/T tires. Wanted to go A/Ts this time. Used one of my HF wheel jacks to help me remove and reinstall the wheel on the truck. Damn things are heavy! 140lbs heavy.

Also installed new o-rings and new TPMS sensors in each to fix the tpms error.

4hrs later, mounted and reinstalled.
Next set of wheels will maybe be method bead grips instead of these beadlocks. Much lighter and can be serviced by a tire shop instead of ME!

Ready for the road trip.

Got me some sweet codes on the way home from work PO300 (of course), PO171, PO137 and P2096.

So after some quick reading and exploring........yup, Bank 2 valve cover is leaking on the to the downstream O2 sensor connector and its misfiring like a mofo.

Thankfully the local parts department had one in stock......this will hold me over until I can get it all done under warranty. Just got to remove the pass front wheel & fender and I should be in and out in about 30 minutes. Thankfully I have a whole bunch of fender clips on hand
