In search of a quiet, good wet traction, 33 or 35 tire

My Falken Wildpeak AT tires are at 45k miles and have grown louder, to a point I’m not appreciating them—neither is the wife. I drive 98% on pavement, long drives. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good highway tire that is quiet and has good wet traction in a 33 or 35 for my 17x8.5 wheels?

I don’t see a 33 or 35 on that one. Familiar with the LTX though.

I have always liked BFG All Terrain. I am still on the Falken AT. I rotate every 10,000 miles or less.

My 2020 Gladiator Overland came with Bridgestone Dueler HT's. I found the wet and snow traction to be lacking and swapped over to Goodyear Wrangler ATA (All Terrain Adventure with Kevlar) at 22k miles. I'm running stock size for the Overland - 255/70R18's. I added 2" mammoth wheel spacers as I like a bit of "poke" but didn't want the extra weight of a wider tire. Lots of road trips over 500 miles - I now have 64,000 miles on them and still have tread left. Some of the best wearing tires I have ever owned (rotated every oil change) and very pleased with wet and light snow traction as well as gas mileage (22mpg average).
My wife runs Falken Wildpeaks on her wrangler and I have noticed they have gotten louder as she surpassed 40k miles. She also rotates every oil change. Great traction tire, but heavier and noisier. Her gas mileage hangs around 18mpg.

I'll be going with these again.

I really like cooper st maxx. They have a 33 that fits oem rims.

Positives: They look the part of a jeep tire, and are really good wet, snow... & quiet (ish). Good off-road, but also on road. I commute in them...I think they are technically an all terrain but look off road.
And I get VERY long life / mileage out of them (now on 2 jeeps, wrangler and gladiator)

Adding: they are in the cooper discovery line , so check out the ones above too!

Very happy with 10 ply Toyo AT3 in 285 (same height as 33) on my factory Willys rims. Lots of driving in heavy rain lately. Tried GY Assurance street tires before after getting rid of factory mud tires. Toyo hands down is better ride than either of the previous sets. 10 ply was recommended by tire guy and I won't go back to a 6.

I have these as well just went from stock 33 to 35 and run at 33 psi smoother and quiter problem with 45000 mile is that they are due for a change I do like the Goodyears they have always been solid quiet tires and do well in rain

Very informative information posted here. However, after going to look at tires and finding out how much they cost I am going to run the tires that came on my Willys until they are smooth.
