Love mine! Put them on in 2020 and they have been flawless. Had one issue with the old hydraulic springs when it gets cold and Rock Slide gave me a spring kit at Jeep Easter Safari and the service has been awesome!

Yep. I installed mine in fall of 2021 and haven’t had any major issues. My lights stopped working, but they replaced them way past warranty. I asked to buy a hardware kit for the armor once as I wanted to do a repaint. They wouldn’t take my money and sent it for free.

Recently bought these but they did not come with any electrical parts or the mounting brackets. Waiting on the store to send them to me and hoping to have mine on this coming week.

They look great 1-10 em for me
Thanks I like them. When I bought them there were not as many choices for tube doors. If I were buying now I’d still consider them but I really like some of the other ones out. I like that metalcloak doors are aluminum.

Yeah, you should have gotten multiple boxes - the company packages things in different boxes - electric in one, hardware in another, and so on. Someone at the place you bought them from must not have realized that.

Who did you buy them from? Direct from RSE, or a 3rd party (like Northridge)
Whoever sold them to you owes you the parts, RSE didn't screw up - unless you bought direct from them. When mine arrived (I bought direct) the boxes were marked like 1 of 6, 2 of 6 and so on.

Dang I only got 4 boxes. One had electrical and bolts and extension pieces in it. Then the other 3 had steps in them. Yeah I got two passenger sides and one drivers side. 😬
DON'T FORGET induction heater for the bolts! Can't stress that enough. Mine came out smoothly thank goodness I didn't break one.

I can't recall the exact number of boxes since I ordered a set for the JLU and the JT at the same time and they came at the same time and the delivery guy wondered what the heck was in those heavy boxes.

I bought them from 4 Wheel Parts in TX. Got a good deal on them and they were marked as new.. said they were bought for a project that they never got around to. After all of the waiting and driving though it seems like maybe I should have just direct from RSE

Hoooooooly cow I finally got them installed! Grabbed a used set, had everything there but one small washer! Not bad.

Getting them on the Jeep at midnight alone, THAT was bad, lol... but got them on! Not wired up yet, I really just wanted them out of the garage.

Used the Hot Rod induction heater from Amazon, $180 well spent. Heated up the bolts in 15 seconds (three sets of 5 sec) and the body bolts came loose without any issues! Worth it, IMO. I was afraid of the snapped body bolt stories...

I'll throw up some better pics later!

Nice work. Not an easy project. They’re game changing. You’ll love them. Get yourself some silicone spray lubricant. Hit the springs and any hinged points Avery couple of months and you’ll be trouble free for the long term.

Here's one way to install them by yourself when you are old and arthritic with a back suffering from decades of abuse - figure the height needed, and slide them directly into place, no risk of scratching or messing anything up. You lift each one just one time, onto stands of some sort so you can slide them right into place.
Other members have used small jack stands and planks, for example.

More than a year later, my wife is still thanking me for getting these installed on both her and my Jeeps, and praising them each time we go anywhere.

That was what I did as well and yes old and arthritic. Still found the instructions horrible at least for me. Where they tell you to remove the floor plug for the wiring well my Jeep had the rear plug covered over with a rubber tape and painted so I thought for sure they must mean the plug is in the front. Got all the wiring pulled into place and couldn’t make it make any sense. Frustrating but they’re on now. Theyre ok. Pretty overpriced IMO especially if you add the armor ETC. Hopefully they hold up to use and abuse.

@ShadowsPapa I definitely remember your advice to heat those bolts up. I think I talked to you a few times a year ago or so about these. I went back and forth, not loving the weight addition, but since I did take off the Rubi rails, that helps... and these are beefy, plus the convenience factor for the wife and kids... PLUS the door dings I'll avoid is worth it lol... I'll wire them up this week, lights as well... looking forward to using them.
