Thanks for the feedback. I also have 6377AA springs on my Rubi and it bottomed out all the time, until I put the spacers in. Your signature says you have a 2020 Gladiator... You have a Gas or Diesel engine? Just want to confirm my statement about Gas vs. Diesel spring part numbers being different!
Really? Odd, when I see my signature it's got my new 2021 info on there. Hmm...

Hey there, there are no markings on the springs besides the product code numbers on them. What springs do you have in what position up front?

Thanks!
This is the left front. I did mean the code numbers marked the springs. The adjustable shocks work wonders on the ride.

I have the 2" Mopar lift on our Rubicon and have the bottoming out issue. Installing a set of hydraulic bump stops to limit the harshness and hopefully resolve the issue.
That’s unusual. It’s better than stock, right?

On a road with 30mph speed limit, dips that would bottom me out at 20mph are a-okay at 30mph.

For me, this is acceptable and how it should be from the factory. If my wife’s grand Cherokee can take them, I expect a JT to be able to take them. Now I can.

For me, this is acceptable.

Ok after several hours of tweaking things the best you can, ensuring everything is 100% dialed in, I have it complete. It's up for an alignment this afternoon!

All parts are installed!

Mopar 2" lift
Clayton Sway Bar Adjustable
AEV steering Stabilizer

Few notes.

1. Front Bump stop extensions are a PITA to install
2. LCA's and Rear Arms are a Pain to get loose unless you have a good quality impact
3. You are nuts to do this lift without an adjustable track arm in the font, it was nearly .8" off center.

Driving after.
1. Alignment needs to be done, not sure why... toe should have stayed but it pulls to the right now.
2. Steering wheel is way off.... to be expected (easy fix).

Took the same bumps I used to take, NO MORE BOTTOMING OUT.

Those front rubi shocks, are so soft stock, compressing them by hand is not a problem.... wow...

So is there a firm conclusion on the fix for bottoming out? Coils vs lift vs spacers or what?? I have a Diesel Rubican on order as of 8/23. Hoping the "engineers" will have the correct fix before it's built.

I don't have the bottom out issue with the mopar kit. I mean don't get me wrong, I can get it to bottom out. But it's not violent like it was stock.

There is no fix from Jeep. You are on your own at this point, it appears.

The mopar 2” lift does solve the problem. It won’t transform it into a desert bomber, but it fixes the issue.

You can get ANY suspension to bottom out. Just ask Bo and Luke Duke. ;)

TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED in Jeep Cares and Jeep..... submitted the issue jump through all their hoops to demonstrate the Jeep is bottomingout and hitting the bump stops. They agreed there is an issue. Waited months to put on new (but same as original) front shocks . Problem was not fixed.... so their response is case closed nothing they can do. I know I am preaching to the choir with this. ... The Jeep Rubicon is sold as the Premier off road capable go anywhere do anything jeep. They need to add go anywhere but over a speedbump or over pot holes. Yes I can lift the Jeep or add spacers as most of you have already done. But I really think Jeep should step up and fix the issue. If I wanted to slam the front end every time I went over speed bumps or pot holes I would have bought a car( insert your non favorite manufacturer). My 2.5 cents on being told "sorry case closed nothing they can do"

Yeah I agree, do something! Especially since we all know they have already handed out a lift to solve the problem that they designed. I would even buy the Mopar lift if they would cover the install/alignment, JUST DO SOMETHING instead of just leaving us all hanging out here... I love bragging about how awesome my Gladys did in Moab, but she cant drive through a school zone! :) :(

@WXman I see your Overland Eco Sig now... I swear my computers is trying to make me more crazy sometimes!

Even if they gave us the lift and we had to pay for the labor. I'd still be ok with that. Something is better than nothing. Which is exactly what they are doing @JeepCares

Finally pulled the trigger on a lift kit to try and fix the BS suspension issue. Really wasn't planning to do anything to the jeep for a couple years but here we are.

Went with the AEV 2.5in dualsport suspension from Northridge 4x4. They had everything in stock except the coil springs.

Decided to put the new bilsteins on and go for a ride on the dirt road behind the house where I usually would bottom out 3-4 times on the way up to the mountain top and didn't have any issues at all.

Was actually able to drive about 10mph faster than I would have with the stock fox shocks. And the ride was so much better.

My rig is only at 6k miles, but I could easily compress the fox shocks with my hands versus the bilsteins I had to put one end on the ground and use my bodyweight to get it to compress.

Hindsight, I might not have needed a complete kit now that I've tested it with just shocks, but here we are. I got so sick on not enjoying driving my rig, I had to do something (much to my spouse's disagreement on the cost lol)

If anyone wants an immediate solution, look into the AEV Tuned gladiator specific Bilstein 5100's.

Ok folks, I just talked to my case manager, Lisa at Jeep Cares. She asked me to ask all of you who are having this issue to call in to Jeep cares and establish a case. Tell your case manager to notify Lisa (ext 406-0550) that you are having the “suspension bottoming out problem.” She needs at least 3 of us JT Ecodiesel owners with the same problem. I don’t know what this will get us, but the more people who bring it up to Jeep Cares, the better.

NOTE: if you have modified your suspension, they probably can’t do anything for you.
Mine is stock with 900 miles, going to dealer on Tuesday.
