Well, this keeps adding up, self inflected of course.

just purchased several items:
-New coil isolators
-Front and rear metal cloak durometer bump
stops
-2” rear bump stop extensions (reusing the front ones from the teraflex spacer kit for the front)
-Synergy front track bar
-Teraflex rear track bar relocation bracket

at this point I should have just purchased the aev kit…

Rear springs are 21.5” roughly and the fronts are about 19.75”. I don’t know what the stock rubicon springs are. I can say the rear springs are stout.

Awesome, thanks! Should work with fox 3.5-4 then as they basically match the Clayton springs.

Sitrep:

I got my synergy track bar installed today, also recentered my steering wheel. The synergy track bar is beefy, I also liked the fact that you can adjust it with it mounted to the vehicle. It was a steep learning curve today on how to measure the axle, what was the best way. I figured it out and it tracks true now.


Quick question to anyone who has adjusted their drag link. Is the adjuster sleeve supposed to be able to be turned by hand? I couldn’t for the life of me get that thing to turn, I ended up using channel locks. Just wondering if anyone else had issues or if

Unless one has a GI Joe Kung Fu Grip, you are going to need some pliers to adjust the turn sleeve.

I have used a pair of Knipex Cobra curved jaw pliers and with just gently hand pressure, the sleeve will turn pretty easily.

Sitrep,

so my eibach 2” springs are en route. Emailed eibach to get some date points on the spring rate

Front: E30-51-024-02-20 has a spring rate of 150 lbs/in

Rear: E30-51-024-03-02 has a spring rate of 175 lbs/in to 275 lbs/in

Moral of the story, front are linear amd the rear are progressive. Seeing that the stock front are linear as well and around 125 lb/in the increase should be good upgrade. I would be interested in some others thoughts on these spring rates.

Do you have any pictures of your setup? Looking at Eibach coils pairing them with the Fox 2.0 shocks. I believe the front coils I’m looking at are a little longer though. Would love your opinion how it rides and looks. Thanks

I can snap so pictures for sure. The ride with shocks and coil set up is a night and day difference for the better in my opinion. The truck just soaks up the bumps and there is less bobbing and swaying.

Here of some photos of the truck as it sits now. They are 2” springs and has good stance. The rear now supports tons more weight than stock before it starts sagging. The drive way is on a slope. Those are 315s amd there is plenty of room

Why those and not the eibach shocks?

The 5100s were a known known. Eibach didn’t provide a lot of data on theirs. I honestly think the eibach are just rebranded 5100s but I could be very wrong

You do know that AEV has a 2” lift with 5100’s valved to match their springs rather than the off the shelf valved 5100’s if you prefer the known known
