I was hoping to find a good pic of this bumper w/ non-high clearance fenders. That looks waaaay better than I was afraid.I went 37s. Gas milage was not a big deal and I am slowly upgrading all my parts as well. All new suspension, track bars, steering stabilizer, drag link, control arms. In the next couple months I will have 4.88 gears and new drive shaft.
Shipping to Guam can get quite expensive, but it depends what is being purchased online and whether they use USPS Priority Mail. Believe it or not, some will use USPS Priority Mail, but will not ship to Guam for one reason or another. When this happens, I use services such as Aloha Forwarding, which can receive and send to me via USPS Priority Mail for the cost of shipping and a small handling charge. This is also goes for smaller items that are sent via UPS or FedEx.Thx, and yes to some extent. But I got good at calling around and getting discounts through usps. I pay about 100 dollars for any 1 large item to ship here. Or use the dealer, they get airfreight cheap.
What PSI do you run, while you are driving on the road? Are those 12.5" or 13.5" wide tires? My cooper stt pro 37s measure out at
36.25 inches at 37psi
36 inches at 33 psi.
The side flares are thin (not flimsy) but not sure if that's a bad thing. The only issue I have with it is the plastic fog light covers. I did a bolt on configuration with it to keep them on and it looks pretty good. Not sure how anyone else is keeping those plastic covers on otherwise.I was hoping to find a good pic of this bumper w/ non-high clearance fenders. That looks waaaay better than I was afraid.
I saw some comment elsewhere that the bumper didn't feel very beefy, that it was mostly plastic or thin or something. How durable does it "feel"?
agreed, I was on the fence and went 37s today. Also very little if any of the tire extends past the flares...I'm sure it has been said, but I'm not reading through a 12-page thread to find out:
No one ever bought 37s and said, "Man, I wish I had purchased 35s." If 37s are even a consideration, just do it or you'll regret it.
They look great! But do seem a little tight in there with the front bumper. What size is your lift? Do they rub?agreed, I was on the fence and went 37s today. Also very little if any of the tire extends past the flares...
Teraflex 1.5” with 1” bumpstop. Nothing in the rear yet. Waiting on 1” spacers. So far no rubbing. Going to try to put it through the paces soon and figure out if I need more lift or bump. That picture is at full bump also. They look great! But do seem a little tight in there with the front bumper. What size is your lift? Do they rub?
Did you go with load range C or E Brandon? Looks greatIMO 315/70R17 is the perfect combo. Jeep recommends additional equipment when installing 37’s. If you’re not wheeling weekly and it’s your daily driver I’d stick with 35’s. 37’s unequivocally put a great strain on the drive tran components. Premature wear is a matter of when not if. 37’s also require more upkeep. 0.02
For reference:
BFG KO2 315/70R17: actual diameter is 34.4 @ 64.5lbs each
BFG KO2 35x12.50R17: actual diameter is 34.5 @ 66.3lbs each
BFG KO2 37x12.50R17: actual diameter is 36.5 @ 69.5lbs each
I did the 315/70R17 option. It looks great without a lift or changing the engineered geometry of the drive tran. No bro dozer look. It’s only .1 smaller than a 35x12.50R17 and weighs a little less. Maybe I’m cautious but I daily drive and do moderate wheeling. I will get everywhere anyone else is running on a trail. Driver input is everything. 37’s are out of the question for me, not worth the extra wear and tear or $$. Full disclosure, I may have opened a controversial can of worms.
Looks amazing without the lift!
I went from stock 33s to 37s with same wheel size. This is stock height since my metalcloak lift was on back order. only had minor rubbing while doing some light trail riding.
Not if you want it to hit the road under its own power without a tow getting there. Mine with the stock tires (basically the same size/height as the Rubicon take-offs I bought) is pretty gutless on hills with a mild load. Can you even run 37's on an Overland with the 373 gearing without destroying anything?

I love STT Pro, which I currently use on my JK and my former 4x4 vehicles. I am planning on purchasing 37" STT Pro from CTD as well, when their shipment arrives, hopefully by Sept 15. Their pricing is quite good for a local shop comparing to other online shops for the same tire. Those guys do great work! I have never had any issues with them over the years!
RLMAO ... Guam is cold ... maybe up in Anderson! Thanks for confirming for me, I was thinking of running my Coopers at 32 psi. When this LOCKDOWN is over, we should meet. I live in the village of Dededo. My office is diagonally across CTD. I purchased my lift kit and I am waiting for it to ship to my ocean freight forwarder.37x12.5
I run 32 psi cold, for Guam's cold, lol.
Yeah I paid like 300 per tire. Thats an awesome price for the states much less Guam.
