Seems like a lot of issues revolve around the main battery and aux battery with the JT.

I’ve always made sure to top off the battery with a battery tender. Especially when I ran a Group 34 AGM in my Tundra.

Does anyone else or has anyone else used a battery tender to make sure everything gets topped off once in a while?

I was using battery tender but then I just installed the NOCO 2D and just leave it plugged into the car now and it makes it a lot easier and it wasn't that expensive or hard to install.

Been using the NOCO GENIUS2 to maintain battery while 2020 JT is parked. Still on original batteries with zero issues.

I use the NOCO 2 also and I eliminated the small battery and replaced the Bigger battery with a bigger one. I have a plug in front by the winch. I only travel a short distance daily for coffee each day so I plug it in nightly in the garage .My last Ram also had the 8.4 radio and I had battery issues with that so I am not taking chances

I have been doing this using the NOCO GENIUS2, and since this is not my daily commute vehicle (40-50%). AGM batteries need to be driven more frequently, I am told. I have been getting the error "Aux Switches not available while battery is charging" for a long time as soon as I start the engine. Just figured out that I have a longstanding parasitic drain causing the issue. Explanation: My canopy is solid, and since I like to see traffic behind me, I replaced the rear-view mirror with a rear-facing dash cam mounted on the top of the canopy, and the screen is the mirror. One of the settings is for "parking lot monitoring", and was triggering the camera everytime it saw activity (a lot apparently, both at home and at work, etc). I changed this setting to no monitoring, and so far, no more error messages. I do have a concern that my charging voltage displayed is high (14.8 most of the time?) but this is likely a separate issue, and may be due to weakening the battery due to a failed alternator that was replaced recently. Bottom line; be aware of the parasitic drain, as the IBS system on the Jeep is very sensitive.

Because this Jeep is not driven daily, I'm using a Battery Tender to keep the batteries happy. I added a quick connect plug (the same plug that is already on the charger cable) to the exterior and just leave the charger powered and mounted in the garage.

My setup:
BatteryMINDer 1500, Pollak 11-896 7 way power adapter, 12 V cigarette lighter to SAE plug adapter.
Back the JT up into my driveway and plug in to the 7 pin trailer outlet.

I've always used a Battery Tender when not driving for more than 3 days. Coming up on 4 years with no battery issues! I've the pig tails hanging out of the grill, so its an easy hook up. Knock on wood!

I have three battery tenders, but they’re for classic cars that don’t get driven regularly. Seems like a pain on a vehicle that’s driven often. Plus, my main and aux battery lasted 5 yrs. My only advice is to replace them both at the same time. I wish I’d done that. I created a lot more work when my main battery failed shortly after my aux battery.

I use one plug in with an adapter to the 7-Pin. My batteries are original from 2020, the battery tender seemed to help, mostly wanted to get through the winter months so I can replace the batteries myself. Seeing that the ECC back to life, it seems to be working.

I kept my JT on a $9 Harbor Freight battery tender for 3 months this winter (I never use doors/top so it is not my daily in Michigan winters) and it seemed to work fine. Fired right up yesterday.

Instead of opening the hood to charge, maintain, and desulfate the batteries, I installed a BatterMINDer EZ Connector to the front bumper.
