I see brackets sold anywhere from $95 to $350 plus. Are there any brands that I should absolutely avoid? Id like to keep it inexpensive but don’t want to buy junk. I’m specifically looking at Rubicon Express. Opinions on that bracket?

+1 for the rancho geo brackets. I just received them yesterday and they appear well made. Will install soon.

The metalcloak and AEV are both nice. The metalcloaks also have a dogleg and use an unused screw hole in the frame at the bottom.

I hear ya, I caught them on sale for about $250. There are cheaper options, but not THAT much cheaper.. The Rancho's are $175.. It's still cheaper than an aftermarket steering stabilizer or a speeding ticket.

I have absolutely no issues with the RC drop brackets I just installed. Yes they're 2 pieces per side but they're sturdy and the fitment was great

I'm not a fan of the separate pieces that Rubicon Express uses. At least Rancho is fully welded.

I've mentioned on another thread that I've run both the Rancho and AEV brackets on various Jeeps over the years. The Rancho's are slightly easier to install. They have various mounting points depending on the size of the lift. AEV uses cams that you install in different orientations depending on the size of the lift. It can be fiddly ....

That is a really good point. Those cams aren't the right answer. The multi hole brackets are definitely more user friendly.

The Rancho relocation brackets are beefy and well priced. I'm very pleased with mine.

+1 for the Rancho. Have over 3000 miles on mine so far, 75 mph on highway and a few weekends of wheeling with no issues. Stock uppers/lowers with 4” lift and set at the bottom hole.
