What is something like this was installed either before or after the oil cooler? https://derale.com/product-footer/fluid-coolers/hi-flow-fluid-coolers/65861-detail By calculations I find on the net, the 125,000BTU rating of this cooler is about 50hp and that doesn't include the BTU's that go out the tailpipe. I would think we could run all day long at 200hp even at 110° ambient, so stands to reason shedding 50hp of heat "Could" fix the problem?
This is a great idea, I feel it has more merit than anything else brought up to this point.

I'm looking for the guaranteed reliable final solution without voiding warranty by completely re-engineering the whole thing! Also heater hoses can be repaired, spliced, and bypassed on the side of the road with a leatherman tool! It could also reduce the cooling fan run times when under light loads by further cooling the system?

it would definitely add coolant capacity as well as surface area, I also like the idea of not tapping into oil Incase of a leak.

Thinking out loud here........

The external radiator should go after the oil cooler to get best heat transfer as the coolant will be at it's hottest point after cooling the oil which is naturally hotter than coolant? Less heat would then re returned to the main cooling system?

OR

The coolant from the main system should be "Pre-cooled" before entering the oil cooler so we get maximum transfer of oil temp, but return potentially hotter coolant to the main system? Maybe this would be set in sub freezing temps where the latter would be best in hot climates where we mainly see this issue?

Hood on the new Bronco Raptor looks like it might vent heat pretty well (if it’s not just a gimmick)

Hopefully someone will find a workable solution that is warranty friendly

It appears that the inlet is the nozzle is the one with the 90* turn, it’s comes directly from the block. The outlet goes around the back of the engine to what I’m guessing is the egr cooler (key word is guessing, I can’t actually see where the line terminates). Outside diameter of the hose is .930 so just a hair under an inch. This was measured on the hose over the barb of the outlet. I.D. Is probably 3/4”

Went through the part numbers. Wrangler 392 radiator and fan is different vs gladiator.

gas and diesel gladiators have the same radiator but there are three different fans.

I did see the other thread where the gentleman posted an aluminum dual core radiator that was available. That should fit the diesel.

doesn’t solve our aux cooler issue for oil.

But if the "upgraded" radiator provides lower, or more efficient cooling than OE, then it stands to reason that the oil will cool a little more effectively. How much remains to be seen/experimented.
