My '22 built 2-22 does not have a cover. Less weight and runs cooler and one less part to remove when installing a 6.4 Hemi.
Of course your 22 wouldn't have it.......that's a given. No 2022 came from the factory with such cover. Dealers were installing them, Jeep said "cut that out, we ain't paying you for that".

It has nothing to do with engine heat........... that's lost in other ways.
There's been a lot of talk of that in other places for years - various cars and trucks where people have talked of the decorative engine cover that may help reduce some sounds..........
Note that it's the JT and JL mentioned - not others.
Jeep likely assumed no JT or JL owner gave a rip about engine looks or a fraction of a decibel in engine sound. they were wasting their money.

Your JT cover was dealer installed, not factory. The document PDF I posted a page or two back is to tell dealers " we see what you are doing, cut it out". That's basically a GPOP document.
Yes your JL had it if made before end of the 21 model year production.
Trust me, both were factory installed.

I think you're wasting your time by continuing to post the notifications from Jeep. Nobody is reading them. It's either they're not reading or not comprehending. I mean.... The bottom line is that it's not installed anymore. That would be easy to comprehend.

And I'm still trying to figure out why everyone is so obsessed with that piece of plastic. I'm seriously about to find mine and put it on marketplace for about $300. It's apparent that there's a few idiots that just might buy it

I enjoy a challenge?

Looks to me like you'd not be alone -

My 2022 came with an engine cover and I think it looks really nice...

Oops....my other 2022. My 2022 Gladiator has no engine cover, nor would it as Papa has pointed out a few times. I actually think the Pentastar without a cover, neatly tucked into the Wrangler / Gladiator engine bay, looks better than with a cover.

My 2022 JTRD came with the plastic engine cover, but I removed it along with all of the foam pieces to help promote airflow underhood. I can now hear my turbo doing its thing.

We're just missing a poll and some arguments over whether the gas or diesel has a better or nicer cover.
That's simple - the Mojave does.
