Shouldn't make a difference. You'll pay the tax to the state you register it in, and you can still get it serviced and warrantied at your favorite Jeep dealer. Also, dealers trade vehicles around all the time. Chances are your dealer can find you one across state lines and get it brought to the dealership. What's the sentiment about buying out of state and bringing it home?
Thanks. My questions was more along the lines of will these states impose higher registration and taxes for ICE vehicles once they stop selling in the state.Shouldn't make a difference. No. Stellantis is the only one doing this. All the other major manufacturers are still selling their entire lineup in CARB states. You can still buy an ICE just like any other state, it just won't be a Jeep unless you order one.Thanks. READ THIS:
Back in September 2020, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed an executive order to end the sale of new diesel or gasoline cars in the state by 2035. Now, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) has voted to finalise that rule and put the state on a path to zero emissions. The new regulation sets out a roadmap with various milestones. By 2026, 35% of all new cars by an automaker would need to be either zero-emission or plug-in hybrid vehicles
