Just a heads up, most of the parts on your truck were made in China(I think including the factory oil filter?). AC-Delco is made in Mexico I think, Wix might be made in Taiwan?

Oil filters are all basically made by the same handful of folks, like batteries.

The reason I started this thread was if you have purchased a filter that says
made in USA, please list it.
No need to fill up the thread on opinions and maybes we all know how much China junk is used in our Jeeps.

Then maybe that's what your original post should have said.

Welcome to the internet.

May I ask why you believe filters and other items manufactured in China are “junk”?

I'd prefer to not support a country that is bent hell on destroying the USA.

Well I suppose that's a different stance and story than simply calling it junk. Unfortunately most of our products now-a-days are made in China or somewhere else an ocean away as production has been moved there. Not sure we can do much about it and with the oil and fuel filters in our 3.0 Italian Ecodiesel being such as a specialty part, you may be hard pressed to find anything domestically produced outside of maybe the Wix/Amsoil filters other have noted.

FWIW, I have had great luck with Doc's Diesels filters over the time I've owned my Jeep. They do, like pretty much any domestic or foreign company, send their filter manufacturing overseas, but they do make custom blends of oils for many applications and should have something for us soon that should rival the goodness that is Amsoil. Independent testing of their filters seem to show similar to or better than OEM parts and you can usually get an entire maintenance kit for less than $110.00.

One tough thing about using the Internet is the data found isn't usually dated. What is fact today, might be baloney tomorrow. Something for all of us to keep in mind on any topic we look up. Here is one link that seems to provide at least some positive - Made In USA filters.

Check some other web sources to cross-check what you find to collaborate or rebuke my quick search.
