If anyone near by needs to borrow my induction heater, let me know! Worked GREAT! Well worth the $180. Maybe I could've just taken the bolts out without it, OR maybe I snapped a bolt and regretted ever even buying a Jeep... but I used the tool, and had a great result lol...

Let's don't talk about broken body bolts LOL
I'm still kicking myself over that - so embarrassing.

I used an induction heater on the body bolts on mine it made a huge difference getting the bolts in and out. The sliders have been great so far and a big help for my wife.

I can honestly say I’d buy them again.

Does anyone know if these will work with the Rock Blokz front mud flaps? Wifey decided these are the ones, so I will soon have a set of Mopar performance rock rails for local sale. I was liking the metal cloak ones that are reversible, but a happy wife is a happy life, plus these will take a licking so good compromise. I have opted to have a local Jeep custom shop install these. Many thanks to @ShadowsPapa, @WILDHOBO, @RacerAV and many others for great info from the beginning of this thread to the very end.

I don’t know about mud flaps, but will say…these stick out far enough that the debris on the doors is all but gone for me. They match up to the fender flares. I got tons of stuff on the body with factory rails. These solved it. I’ve never even thought about flaps.

I have MOPAR mud flaps on my Overland JT and WeatherTech on our JLU (because couldn't get MOPAR ones for the 4xe Rubicon JLU).
Zero issues, but that doesn't answer your question, really............... my gut says they'd be ok, but that's not a fact, just a feeling.

Thank you. The shop owner and one of the techs both said what you told me, that I would not need mudflaps with these. But since I already have the rock blokz mudflaps, I figured I would try to see if anyone else has them with the RSE setup and if there would be issues.

Fair enough. If you’ve got them, use them.

They aren't "necessary" but absolutely add to the protection. I've got pics that show the patterns on both the JT and JLU........... the steps protect, with mudflaps, it's even better.

Dang man... that looks great! Protection wise... I dont love mudflats, but they really don't look bad on that JLU! Are they soft, like if they hit a rock will they bend back and return?

That one is my wife's Jeep - she's totally proud of it LOL. When I talk about anything off-road, trails, etc. "NOT with MY Jeep"..... so I may never know, but - my guess is - it sort of depends. They aren't like the OEM flaps on my SX4, which are a tire-like material and will flex a lot, these attach very differently from the MOPAR ones which use the rivets which I have to keep replacing - I've knocked one loose plowing snow (well, actually backed the truck up hard into a tall pile of snow I made, wasn't paying attention)

I looked at both of our Jeeps and there's plenty of clearance between the fronts of the steps and the flaps - you could stick your fingers in there, so I'll say - these power steps would work with any mud flaps of any brand. The step body doesn't stick quite as far forward as the original Rubicon rock rails her JLU came with.
