I am trying the vacuum hose fix. I don’t want to deal with the dealership BS again, especially since they have not changed the part.

Was finally able to get mine into the dealer on Friday. They confirmed the leak and are ordering the replacement back glass assembly and will have a local glass company swap it out. Going to inquire about having them use some trim moulding to help when the frame ends up cracking again.

For what its worth after the dealer replaced my glass back in Oct '21 it hasn't leaked. I recently moved from TX to WA back in January and still no leaks in spite of switching to a colder, more rainy climate.

My 21 started leaking a couple months ago. Debated on taking it in which would mean at least three trips to the dealer and an hour to hour and a half drive depending on which one I went to. I would also have to take my topper off.
I used the flowable silicone and it worked for now. We will see how it goes but for 7-8 bucks it seems to be worth it. If it continues to have leaks we will see about a trip to the dealer.

I had the same problem but, solved it with RV rubber gaskets rejuvenator. I've used this on other vehicles door gaskets for years now. I only retreat once a year.

I just bought a used 2020 Gladiator from a Jeep dealer and got it home and after the first rains here the roof started leaking, looks like where the glass is just like everyone else here. It is out of warranty and the dealer seems hesitant to want to cover the cost to repair.

Also the rear sliding window design is garbage. It's on a straight track with just the rubber molding resting on it. It will definitely going to leak with uses. A better design would be an offset track so that when locked, it press a little against the rubber molding.

No new part in 3 years = they couldn't care less. They're excited to charge you 2k when out of warranty.

Vacuum hose.

Welcome!

If they give you crap fix it yourself for $12. You'll love the truck despite several engineering flaws.

I’m at the dealership today—they wanted $180 just to diagnose it (out of 3-year warranty, but have Mopar warranty).

I told them I didn’t need a diagnosis.

I will be swapping for my soft top in a few weeks anyway.

I think I may try the flowable silicone fix first.

For those with a more intimate understanding of where the clips are and typical water intrusion occurs—do you think it might be better to try the flowable silicone with the hard top removed and the glass facing upwards (like a table), or should I stick to applying it in its normal orientation?

I can imagine arguments for either—just curious of the opinions for those most familiar…

Another option for replacement if you don't want to roll the dice on a Mopar replacement just failing again...
That looks really cool, but in the North East, I really need a rear defrost.
