Now that my winch and bumper have settled the front of my Mojave down a bit I'm noticing more rake than I want.

I'm planning on the Teraflex 1.5" leveling kit in the front and I'm curious if I'll need an alignment or any other parts to go with this? I believe it'll bring it back up to roughly factory height so in my mind I think I can toss these on in an afternoon and be done. I'll probably start with the 1" spacer and only add the 1/2" spacer if needed.

Thoughts?

No alignment necessary other than centering the steering. There is a single 15mm pinch bolt, then you turn the adjustment collar.

Cool, that's what I was thinking and thanks for the heads up on the steering wheel!

I installed same with zero issues and had no need to align or recenter steering.

Concure. 1.5 in Teraflex with steering wheel re-center. Bob's your uncle.

fwiw I'm not looking to lift it higher than stock. I just want to compensate for the 1" or so of lift I lost when adding the bumper and winch. I want the spacer to bring it back to stock height.

A few more bucks you can get JKS acos and dial in the specific amount of lift you want

I debated those but after my 35s wear out I want to move to 37s or 38s. At that point I'm going to do a 2.5" spring lift with new control arms all around. So I just want to stick to a spacer right now to compensate for the bumper/winch. I appreciate the recommendation.

I plan on doing the teraflex too. Not for winch weight but just for the rake and I was wondering about alignment too. This helps.

I guess now my question is whether in alignment is needed for adding Rubicon takeoff suspension which I did just do?

Not the best angle with the top pic, but that’s before the 1.5” teraflex spacer.

Bottom pic is with the front 1.5” spacer and 3/4“ rear spacer. Perfect amount of rake if you tow occasionally, which I will.

So, I want to confirm what I am reading here.... I have added a steel bumper and winch and the front end of my MOJAVE dropped about an inch. From what I gather here, I can use the TeraFlex 1.5" Leveling Kit (P/N 1155300) without using shock extenders to get it back up to it's original height?? Is that correct??

That's my understanding. I'm planning to just use the 1" spacer at first to see if that brings me back to level, and worst case adding the 1/2" spacer to bring it up a little.

I talked to a guy at the parts counter at the local Jeep dealer this morning and he said it won't work with the Mojave. ?? Have you gotten your spacers yet?

Not yet, but what part won't work with the Mojave? At stock height there's no need for the shock extensions which I would think be the Mojave specific piece.
