I had it back farther than I normally do (in one case had to stop because the house was in the way) but we've gotten more than typical in multiple snows, it all added up. Making it worse, the freeze/thaw turned some of it into ICE.
I can't believe how much melted by the time I took these pics.

Yes, I can turn sharp enough and just get the blade between the garage and steps to clear much of the snow from in front of my wife's parking spot in the garage.

A quick back on topic so we can justify the threads existence before going back off topic 😄

I hauled stuff again this weekend. This time my toolbox and adjustable height work bench to our other house.

Here, they don't allow that.
Some areas require a structure to be bolted to a concrete slab, others require a concrete floor for any implement or vehicle that contains gas and oil. (farms excluded)
I was not able to use my shop until it had a concrete floor - wasn't even able to park my F20 in it.
It's called an Ag barn.

Interesting. I’ll look into that. I know I can build a shed up to 200 square feet without a permit here. But I didn’t know about the floor thing. Oh well. If I excavated a pad, it wouldn’t be that much more work to pour some concrete. But I wonder if gravel and a moisture barrier would be acceptable.
It's called an Ag barn or Ag building, either way. Just a gravel floor, with either the posts buried or concrete pier pads. Others call I a pole barn.

I don't always think of the term to use.
Mine is definitely a pole building. Many "ag" buildings here are not really pole buildings but barns built 150 years ago.
Today, many homes in the area are pole buildings.
The county had to inspect the holes, do perk tests and check the poles once in the ground.

Pictures of the shed?
It is just an Arrow 10 x 12 metal shed; should have it finished tomorrow. Out of the classic project three choices, Good/Fast/Cheap, this one has to be fast and cheap. The moisture barrier, pavers, and plywood are to create a good foundation and floor, while keeping to quick and cheap.

I’d be on that payment plan as well right now. Fast and cheap. Where to put it is the problem I haven’t solved. Lots of sloped areas.

Not today, but a few ago I finally got to test the new Nitto Ridge Grapplers in the snow.
They did great in untouched territory but I feel they had a hard time getting out of already created icy rutts. I feel an aggressive M/T might have pulled out better but all in all it did amazing.

Truck stuff. Got supplies to build a table, and put 16 shelves into the shed. The shelves will need to wait until tomorrow. The day got away from us.

Drove down our crazy half flooding roads to get tarps because my flashing around the chimney decided to fail. Roads weren’t too bad but there were a couple times I slowed just to be safe.

Nice pole slammer ya got there. :surprised:

I have the same hitch skid on mine too. :like:
We needed a couple T posts to hold some tree sections from rolling down the hill. I was finally sick of the ladder and 16lb sledge method.

Yeah the sledge method gets old real quick. I hate ladders as it is. Balancing on a ladder with a sledge just makes it that much worse. If I ever get into a case of having to do more than about a dozen I’m getting the Big Bertha post pounder. That thing is SECSAY!!!!!!
