Finished up my front end. Super special thanks to @Metalcloak for taking care of me. Ordered front and rear end links, end link frame mounts, hd tie rod, hd drag link, and front track bar. Blew the front end apart only to find that the tie rod they sent me was for the rubicon and not the narrow tie rod that I ordered. A 2 minute phone call and MC overnighted another tie rod for me along with a return label. Really helpful with my situation and I appreciate that. Now for the pretty stuff

forgot to add what I did WITH it… drove it to the alignment shop because my eyeball alignment had me 1 3/32” toed out

Just got back last night from a road trip of approx. 3200 miles. I traveled from Apache Junction, AZ to Woodland, WA. Did a little running around up there and visited some friends & family.

I was within 30 miles of home on the trip back when a semi hauling a belly dump trailer passed me and smacked the windshield with a rock. Thankfully, all I got was a small chip with a small crack that will be repaired early next week.

The JT did great. I had a load in the back seat plus some stuff in the bed to delivery to family (about 500 pounds) and had no problems. The weather was brutal as was the wind, all across the Wasatch Front in Utah and the eastern hills of Idaho. At one point I could barely see due to the very heavy rain, sleet, hail and driving winds. It didn't last too long but it was not pleasant.

Traveling at freeway speeds into a quartering or head on wind netted me about 15.7 MPG on the way up to Washington. With a slightly less quartering wind and a stiff tail wind, I saw between 18 & 22 MPG depending on terrain and elevation changes.

It was a good trip and I broke in the new Toyo AT III tires.

Last minute spontaneous trip to the Badlands and Black Hills

Took JT on Dillon Rd. through Berdoo Canyon up into Joshua Tree last Sunday. Trail was washed out a few places and wife spotted us thru with zero issues in 2x. We did disconnect Apex sway bar connectors but did not air down. Great day and not much traffic on the trail, desert is starting to cool down! Looking forward to a week in Lucerne valley next month!

Apparently I missed it in the lineups, I couldn't find it when I went back to look.

I just realized the error in my post, they most definitely are different JT's, but I thought I had pictures of the flop on wheels and 'off' his wheels.
