Which lift kit do I buy?

Looking for suggestions please. This is my first jeep. I have a 22 Willys Sport gas, Its my daily driver, but does go mildly off road for hunting. I do not rock crawl, deep mud/water etc. Just looking to get it in the air with some 35's . I was thinking Rough Country 3.5" but it looks like those are swear words in the Jeep Community LOL. Not looking to spend a fortune as my needs for serious off road is not there. I like the Mopar lift but I want it in the air higher than 2". Any suggestions/experiences would be appreciated. Thanks

The Mopar lift has a pretty big rake, but it is way more than 2" of lift. Add a front trackbar to the mopar kit, and consider a 3/4" spacer for the front springs and you're in business.

The Clayton 2.5" Ride Right would be a good setup for you. It will give you about 4" front and 3" rear. I think it's one of the best buys for the price.

I've had this kit with Bilstein 5100 shocks for about 25k miles and I'm really happy with it.

Same setup here, 35s, Clayton 2.5" Ride right and Bilstein 5100s. I love the stance and I've had a couple people tell me my jeep looks built for purpose now.

Another question - did you go with a steering stabilizer with this kit? Guessing factory wont work with the lift?

I suggest looking up AEV dualsport. Its what I have and I am very happy. It gives 2.5” or so when fully loaded. I personally did not want more than 3”. You can also consider a spacer lift that will easily get you into 35’s without much trouble

I suggest taking some time and considering how you ACTUALLY use your Jeep before buying anything. a lot of components are geared to specific lifestyles and it would suck to get something that really isnt in line with your use case.

I am still running the factory steering stabilizer.

I took a slightly different route, going with the Tereaflex leveling kit and then adding Bilstien shocks. I'm running Toyo AT3 35*11.5*17's with no problem. Jeep rides great. Just a thought.

I'm a big fan of Eibach right now. After installing their Pro-truck Sport shocks I will be adding their springs after I burn through my current 33" tires.

I would go with their 2" front/1" rear setup with shocks and that should get you what you need to clear the 35s and also level out the rake. They also have a 3" front/2" rear for the same cost if you really want to go higher than 2" up front.

Add the 2" Mopar lift LCAs and you should be very happy with what you are looking for and at a decent price.

If you want the best ride on road, I would say AEV DaulSport RT 2.5. The guys that made that kit are ex Chrysler engineers that worked on Jeep suspensions.
