Personally, I have always lived in the northeast and have never under-coated a vehicle. I crawl under my jeep each fall and spring and spray any exposed metal that is showing minor surface rust with Fluid Film (Boston, MA) and have no complaints or issues.I have a 2021 Jeep gladiator with very minor surface rust on the frame. Was looking into Ziebart undercoating since I’m in NJ with all the salt and road debris that’s known to rust frame quickly. Any help or information would be great thank you.
That works to if you are diligent and catch all of the suspect areas where panels overlap, boxed areas, channels and so on.Personally, I have always lived in the northeast and have never under-coated a vehicle. I've touched up my 82 here and there where the undercoating flaked away a bit (good grief, ya expect perfection after FORTY YEARS?!?!?!?)I watched an episode of graveyard cars or bitchin rides, can’t remember which… they had a car that had been professionally undercoated decades earlier and where shocked how effective it was.
