Add 850w heavy duty cooling fan to 3.6L Gladiator that didn't come with it. ( no Tow Package or Max Tow )

Hopefully this isn't a dead thread. I was curious about adding this because I have the 240v alternator. I reached out to the parts guy at my local dealership and he pulled my VIN and told me I already have the 850w fan and basically told me that any truck with the 4.10 gearing has the 850w fan. So do all Rubicons have the 850w fan?

He also told me that the Z case fuse array ( 68368854AA ) is incompatible with my Jeep. Did the 2024s change the fuse box array setup? Here is the image he sent me to show there's no fuse array on my 2024.

4.10s are irrelvant to the 850. Do you have the factory tow package? If so, you have the 850.

I do not. I have a 2024 manual transmission Rubicon. No tow package. But the parts manager at the dealership is insistent that I have the 850w fan. I'm probably just going to pull it out and check.

About the 600 850 and 940 watt fan.
No mater what fan you use the real problem is to little to late.
RPM Extreme JL fan controller solve this problem.
I am running the controller on both my jeeps and it is a game changer.
No more 235/240 temps and the oil temp is also about 25 degrees cooler.

Not bad having a look anyway, the vin is not always 100%, albeit I haven't heard of many cases of Gladiators with wrong vin buildsheets.

Love that mod,but cant get past cutting the ecu wires.Just a me problem.

What does your build sheet say? Should be a line for "Heavy Duty Cooling".

I know my 2025 base Sport with no tow package has the 240A alternator and the upgraded fuse array but my build sheet lists it as "Standard Duty Cooling". I suspect I still though have the 600W cooling fan. I will probably verify that today sometime if I can get to it.
