Just got another recall paper yesterday on Z58 recall. I already had the hpfp done which I thought was the Z96 recall.

I had the recall done on mine at around 22k miles. With the paperwork they gave me it says to change the fuel filter every 10k from now on. I last changed mine at 15k with a docs diesel filter(these have green plastic ends) so I went out to change mine today since im just about at 25k. The dealer paper didnt mention changing the fuel filter when they did the pump but that wasn't the filter I put in at 15k . The filter I pulled out looked like it was of nicer quality with black ends and 070222 on it. I google that number but come up with nothing, was that an OEM mopar filter?

Just got mine back. When replacing the pump they found a leaking fuel injector hose, 68504389AA. $190 hose, at msrp. They covered it, of course.

So that's cool. But it's all back together now. Time to send this PCM out to GDE

I’m eleventh millionth and one.

My friend’s ecodiesel Ram had a minor cooling leak, took it in and they did the pump at the same time. Apparently some guy missed two appointments so they gave him the pump allocated to the guy who didn’t show up. Funny how things work out.

SssooooOOooo… anyone know what they actually changed on the recall that the HPFP is gonna be good now? I haven’t seen anything. Also, I talked to my dealer a couple weeks ago and they said they couldn’t order the parts so I called jeepwave and talked to a guy and the dealership callef me the following Monday mad that I called jeepwave. I broght it in and the put a code reader on it and ordered the parts… now it’s just waiting and hoping it stays together until it gets fixed.

It's a shame that you have to go through with this shit just to get a recall done.
