Ya I guess in another 10K miles when I go to change the fuel filter, I'll play around with it. Prime the system about ten times, and crack open the water filter drain and see if any air comes out. I don't see how that could do any harm.

Just hit 30K on my 2021 Willy's Ecodiesel Gladiator. No engine issues. Had to have the dealership replace the rear Pinion bearing. Other than that, completely trouble free. 2 inch lift with 37s. Still cannot believe how well this vehicle drives and how well the diesel does on the trail.

EGR cooler failed at 29k allowing coolant to mix with soot and block intake manifold valves. Jeep was still running and driving without issue, but CEL illuminated and self cleared. Otherwise no powertrane issues. EDT with every tank. Parts took approx 2 weeks to arrive at dealership (Jan 2023)

For what’s it’s worth and I’m aware that this is not the 4xe site. But my 4xe currently has a cel 22k on the clock. Took it in and they believe it to be a heater for the battery bank. Cuz ya know ya can’t charge or discharge a lithium battery when it’s cold or crystals form in the cells.
my f150 however is currently at 13k with no issues yet lol.
I take it back in This Thursday for further diagnosis and then they can order parts. Then perhaps by spring I’ll have a phev jeep again. But for now I’m just running on the gas motor.. well the wife is anyway. On the ford I’m not impressed with the skipped shifts of the trans.
It’ll skip 2nd almost always if your not in tow or sport. Then it won’t lock the tc in 3rd fast enough for my liking. If you drive more aggressively it’ll hit every single gear and lock up like it should but under normal acceleration it’s trying to get to the next gear too soon. I’m guessing for epa purposes.. I just run it in tow or sport. Lots of power though! Have not had the opportunity to hook it up to the tt and tow far yet. My first real tow with it will be from ny to Tennessee and back.

If you win the detroit lottery then the f150s are a great design. Its mfg tolerance in some areas that is the issue.

Seems qc on all manufacturers is rather lacking these days. I’m certainly not a brand loyalist.. my zr2 diesel was a blast my gladiator was also a fun ride my 4xe is fun as well.. my last 3 ford rangers were reliable as fuck and the 4.0 in my last ranger had reasonable power for the day. This 3.0 eco however has had three generations to sort out the issues and it’s still got issues.. bums me out that a they can’t get a better grip on qc.

30,000 km - 18,000 mi no issues. Live in the country so it’s always a long commute at highway speeds and using Amsoil all in one additive + early oil changes

So I have noticed that on the recall paperwork FCA is claiming an estimated failure rate of just 1% with actual numbers being much lower.

Total Recalled: 45,711
- 126 Warranty Claims
- 8 Field Reports
- 7 Customer service assistance records
- 3 Service records

These numbers are through March this year and were submitted on 4/13 in relation to the HPFP recall. Now if these are true numbers this issue is being way overblown and some indication some jealous gassers have potentially skewed the results in this poll. These numbers would put the total failure rate at just 0.4% which is way lower than what is being reported here.

btw, currently at about 12k miles with mine, trouble free. The only issues I've yet to find on my 2022 was a push clip in the fender liner not being inserted properly. The horror.

Adding my votes to the thread - I have what I imagine is a unique story. My fuel pump failed the morning I was supposed to get my truck from the dealer. 4 miles on the odometer - they were driving it down the street to fill it up for me to take delivery, and the pump died. This was December 2021. It took them 2 months to get a pump to fix the issue - and only after many calls to Jeep Cares and Stellantis.

I'm now at ~9,000 miles on my JTSD. Mix of highway and around town. It's my 2nd car, but I honestly drive it almost as much as my primary. Mopar lift with 37" tires. Aside from that first fuel pump issue, I've had no issues. I use Hot Shot Every Day Diesel with most fill-ups (not all as I forget sometimes) just as an additional level of security.

So in some ways, my truck has been flawless while -I've- owned it, but I know it had some issues before I legally took delivery!

My bad, I'm so used to doing things in excel. Corrected.
