By all accounts, I believe I should be fine.

2020 Overland with Trac-Lok LSD option
I service mine at 50K miles.
Drained and filled with Royal Purple Max Gear 75W-90 High Performance Synthetic Automotive Gear Oil.

Royal Purple states that their Max Gear is formulated with a friction modifier additive – no additional additives are necessary.

Take this with a grain of salt, but back in oh I wana say 2009 or 10 or so, Royal purples gear oil was the only one out of multiple brands that failed in some real world testing in various conditions. I mean I don't have the proof and dont plan on searching for it and maybe things have changed BUT... I do know I ran their oil for a minute back around that time to give it a shot and it was the only oil that my Duramax would burn off enough to have to add between early oil changes. Came to the realization that I would rather use a tried tested and true product and never looked at the brand again. Again things may have changed and I have no proof to supply you with now but just sayin do your research and make your own informaed decision on the oils and lubricants you use. Gimmicks are sometimes gimmicks and big names amd prices are not always better. I'll add I am fairly new to the JEEP scene and only goojng off real world Dmax/Chevy truck experience. Mobile1 has been my choice of diff fluids in the past but I will need to start researching soon to swap out all the fluids in this unit someday soon

So following up on this procedure do you use some sort of make a gasket or is there an actual gasket to replace?
Also, what are the bolt torque specs?
Thanks!

I have the ARB covers. I forgot what the oil level should be in the diffs. What is the correct oil level in the diffs?

Just came to add my 2 cents
1.) there is DEFINITELY conflicting info in OEM documents about wether a OEM locking differential needs friction modifier, my statement is it doesn’t hurt to add it. Also with that, some fluid says with friction modifier added, I tend to ignore that as FCA/Jeep uses metal disc and no friction material in their limited slips, so I always reccomend using Mopars additive, its cheap and ensures you long life
2.) Ive personally put 75/140 in all our personal axles, while I might not tow, we do wheel, and adding the larger tires (37s from 31s) is a big difference. FCA/Jeep likes to change the oul weight like this even when the physical axle is unchanged. The Gladiator does change with a towing package, but the JK was a good example of this, simply adding the towing reciever meant “tow package” and basically they said if there is a hitch, then bump up from 75/90 to 75/140. They manual listed if a hitch is present, use the higher.

just to be safe, with the locking stock axles, go ahead and buy a bottle of Mopar, put half in the front, half in the rear. Choose your favorite fluid, at recommended weight or slightly higher if you understand mods/use case of your particular vehicle

ARB instructions tell you to put the take off cover next to the ARB cover and use a straight edge across the bottom of the take off cover hole to the ARB cover and with the dipstick held outside the ARB cover, mark the intersection line on the dipstick with a file mark.

If you failed to do that, well you are in a pickle then to WAG it or use some other math and point placement to figure it out.

Has anyone tried to refill the valvoline or amsoil flex fill bags? I was thinking about buying 1 bag and just a gallon jug and then keep refilling the bag.

I’ve used the bags. They work just fine.
I've used the bags on the Duramax and on the Glaiator. The I tried on the Grand Cherokee. I went back to the bottle and pump. It ended up being a little cleaner, for me any how.

I tried what you are asking with the Valvoline bags and felt I was doing double work refilling the empty Valvoline bag and then using it again. I did this about twice and gave up on that idea.

I do not think the bags will hold up to this over time anyways.

75W-140 in the rear if you tow a lot.
About to buy some redline 75w140 for the rear of my Mojave(tru-lok e-locker no additive). I almost bought the gallon for both front and rear but I’m thinking should I just put the 75w-90 in the front or you think I’ll be ok just putting the 140 in both?

I tow a teardrop and my dirt bikes more than a few times a year. When I’m camping I’m loaded. Figured the 140 is best for me.
