Installed a winch/winch plate on my JTR back in May. The 60+ pounds dropped the nose approximately 1/2" which accentuated the rake, so I decided it was time to level it up a bit. Ended up going with the Teraflex 1.5" Spacer Leveling Kit and also decided to go ahead and install 1/2" spacers on the rear to maintain a little rake. Simple 3.5-hour solo job with 2 jack stands, a floor jack, and old fashion (non-electric) wrenches/rachets. Instructions state to loosen the control arm bolts, but I decided to not mess with those (and the associated retorquing) and didn't have any issues. Used a rachet strap to help get the track bar holes lined up as I had seen in a video - simplified that process. Now the 33" tires look too small

Looks good!

I've got the 1.5" on the front too, nothing on rear so far. May add a 3/4" down the line.

I wish someone had made a 2" leveling kit but they're all 1.5" or 2.5". A 2" on the front and a 0.75" on the rear would have been the PERFECT lift for my needs.

Did you need to adjust the steering wheel? I made the same changes to my JT and the steering wheel needed to be adjusted.

Yes, had to adjust steering wheel. I think I turned the adjuster ~3/4-1 turn on the first try which was an overshoot when I test drove. Had to back the adjuster off ~1/4 turn (if I remember correctly).

I think it looks perfect. This is exactly what I was planning on doing but I ended up buying some Metalcloak 2.5 springs/shocks and other parts during this weekend's sale. Do you intend to keep the stock shocks for a while or replace them? I thought about adding some OTS Fox 2.5's with the spacers.

Looks great! I've got the stuff to do 1.5" front and 3/4" rear but haven't installed them yet. Recovering from hand surgery.

I ain't against lift kits at all, just struggled to find them that accounted for ~1.25" of rake correction. AEV makes the 2" but it's 2" all around.
Sounds like to " level it " you only need a 3/4" -1" spacer in the front.
