Has anyone referenced the JL Diesel Rubicon Front spring part numbers and tried them? I understand the JT is heavier but I’d think it’s mainly toward the rear. Thoughts? Any companies make a ver short progressive lift spring that could be used and keep everything else stock?
When I learned that the JL is 1in higher, I figured it’s a no brainer … I’d say go for it!

Might want to look into the JL 392 Xtreme rubicon coils, the hemi and ecodiesel are similar in weight, and the 1.5” taller spring negates the 1.5” longer bumpstop we have, win win win.

Anyone else who has called @JeepCares been directed to mopar vehicle protection team? Jeep Cares said this wasn't in their area. However others on here said they should be working with you and the dealership to get this resolved.

I am considering calling again monday to complain and get this escalated. I do NOT want another run around.

I ran these on the rear of my JK to help with bottoming out when I have my dirtbike on my hitch carrier, it helped a ton. Maybe this would assist with the bottoming issue as well?

They also have awesome bumpstops, I've used the to assist with heavy loads and trailer towing.

@Suho posted his results on doing this on the other thread.

These are much longer than the stock bumps, and there's not much room in there, stock, to install them. He did it by doing a 1.5" Terraflex leveling lift, and then it looks like they have enough space to fit. He's not bottoming out now.

Thats great info, thanks for that! Hoping my 22 rolls off the lot with a fix, hoping to keep it closer to stock than the JK. I miss the simplicity and challenge on the trails of a stock rig.

He posted more picks, ... looks like has at least 1" or more of space between the Sumo and the stock strike plate, so you might be able to get by with less than 1.5" spacing.

So after the tech agreed that it was bottoming out, @JeepCares said my vehicle qualifies for NOTHING. Because I was going between, 5 and 10 MPH, it was too fast and this was NORMAL operating behavior. So, us non Rubicon Owners are screwed.

Sorry to hear about the issues that aren't getting addressed. I was just notified all the parts from the TSB are in and I have install scheduled for Friday 13th.

It will be interesting if there is any difference.

Interesting. The size of the protruding bump stop (the end you’re pointing at) is less than what we have now, but it’s got more surface area. The steal sleeve goes up in the tube. I wonder how much of the sleeve will protrude out the bottom. Please keep us posted.

You did get 4 new shocks right?

Hey guys sorry. Friday. 4 shocks. Front 2 bump stops. I was confused by the size also. I took a vehicle pic before. I’ll add pics.

butt feel says no major difference. Oddly more firm ride but also more compliant over bumps. I’ll share more but this is just first drive back from dealer thoughts.
