Now I know I am not the only guy thinking like this.
One thing that prompted my decision is the fact that I am forced to use mine for work. I currently have 85,000+ and yearly I am putting 25,000+ on it . The only way to sustain it is to have a stash .
Hehe. Some day. If it weren't for that damn Jeep taking my disposable income!

I love the old regular (non-Grand) Cherokee with the boxy styling, so I guess that's why I'm partial to the look of the new Land Cruiser. I think the new Land Cruiser is going to put some downward pressure on the market for MSRPs for anything remotely similar, but who knows.
The new Land Cruiser and Hyundai Sante Fe are going after the Bronco/Defender look and it's appeal.

Boxy is back, baby!

Good luck with that, just takes a year of slacking and the population will be back... and smarter ?
I have little doubt you are right....

I’m partially with you for sure. I love wk2’s, but wl’s are meh to me.
And there you have one reason my wife traded before the WL came out, and then later, moved to a JLU - although the color was the deal clincher.

Just because something sells, doesn’t make it good. Ford is the perfect example of something crappy that’s well marketed to the customer base, so still sells well. Jeep is no different, except for the crappy part. :)
Mats off road recovery had a recent video of that Bronco he uses sometimes with the front wheel broke off .? said something like found its limit ?

It wasn't his bronco, it was a customers. His bronco has reinforced rack and tie rods already. The stock bronco tie rods are ridiculously weak because the rack is ridiculously weak. So they made the tie rod the fuse instead of the rack.

I love it. I’ve seen that thing on the videos, and I just don’t get it. IFS really seems like the exact opposite thing to use for recoveries.

Glad I only paid $37,125 out the door for my 2020. Heck they offered me $28,000 for it with 83,000 miles on it last week when I was down at the dealership just looking around. I guess it depends on where your located as far as what you can get for it. That's crazy you paid over $60,000 for a vehicle only worth $33,000

I'm just waiting for this TJ Brute to reduce price to pick that sucker up! Man...I really want to get it. But is it worth another car loan? Maybe I should just convert my TJ into one.....

Woah. What? Why would anyone want more taxes?! Hey thank's for the raise by the way. Just got a 5% COLA. More Jeep parts! But you all know it's not the guns that is the problem. I sure hope so anyway.... Oh the spoon made me fat, that's right. No it's a society problem. Lots of people don't value life anymore. I mean, when we kill babies, and pay for it via government funding, encourage assisted suicide, encourage heavy drug use, encourage laziness, encourage welfare, and so on... why would anyone value life? Guns are a tool. Sometimes a tool used wrongly. Wasn't there some wife that literally stabbed her husband to death by a squirrel? Poor squirrel...... How about we ban all gasoline cars? Because ENVIRONMENT! That's basically the same as saying we dont need more guns... It wont solve the problem. Maybe just bandage it for a little bit. But then the single mom wont be able to defend herself. Funny how those stories never make the news. This last week alone I ready 5 articles of a woman being attacked and overpowered by a man defend herself who otherwise would have been raped and murdered. The problem is society largely doesn't value human life anymore. Until that changes, people can ban all they want and murders will still be on the rise. And it's definitely not about 'health and safety'. I mean look at the FDA. Great example. Saying all these processed foods are safe. Machine made meat is 'healthy'. Yeah...sure.... health and safety all right. The funny thing is I think everyone here would agree that yeah there is a problem. And everyone here would love to see that resolved. At the heart of it most all of use would want the same end result, but just through different methods. I would like to hope there is a middle ground, but history disagrees. After all, look at the mess in other countries with way more rules and laws and bans than we have. Sure didn't solve their problems. My job is a great example. I will spare the details because I probably would get fired despite whistle blower protections - but service has regulated itself SO bad, we are at a standstill. It takes us 15-20 years just to cut a freaking tree - that burned in a fire and is totally dead. All because more and more policy, law, and regulation. Imagine if your wife got raped and it took the courts 20 years to catch the bad guy but then because of existing policies couldn't prosecute the guy.... That actually happens a lot already. So, theres a happy medium in there somewhere. Problem is, nobody understands that - everyone just wants to ramrod their opinion upon everyone else. So much for freedom - everyone is at fault.

But I digress. Agree to disagree. In the mean time, I'll spend those next couple of pay raises on more ammo and maybe a can. Before someone tells me I can't - kinda like going over the speed limit. Hmm...when was the last time anyone here actually drove at or under the speed limit?

Read actual news. All of this is drivel. Australia is the best example. They had a huge gun death issue. They changed the laws, and wow, now they don’t. But they’re still allowed to hunt and target shoot. Just not kill thousands per year a dozen at a time, with 30 round mags and bump stops. You disappoint me.

Agreed with some of of what you said definitely not this though . I drive speed limit or below all the time. I aint got the has money to afford to drive over it. Furthermore I rarely even break 60 mph for more than 10 miles. The roads I travel on are very curvy skinny and in mostly bad shape. So roads dictate. The highways around here are curvy. Ever run a highway in WV..lol

Now I know why my 2022 JT with 8,000 miles that I bought in 2021 is worth practically nothing!! I paid $54K and dumped over $7K into it like a sucker! Now the most I can get towards a trade in is $33K. Something needs to change! Trucks full size or JT’s should NOT cost this much!
IMG_1945.png
Thats weird I paid $51K for my 2021 JT and carvana offered me $42K with 21,000 miles.

WV has some great curvy roads for sport bikes and sports cars. I've drove and ridden on a lot of them. Me being just north of the Mason Dixie Line.

Yep, the Gladiator is a fine vehicle,……..BUT it’s NOT a truck. So much fun to drive, but it’s a “niche” market. When compared to even a full-size premium truck, the JT severely lacks in options.
But it is a truck. Body on frame, solid axles. It is titled as one even. What does it lack?? I have heated seats, heated steering wheel, electric windows, lockers, satellite, a killer sound system - the most luxurious vehicle I have ever owned.

And I'm still trying to figure out what I said that was political and deleted. Nice that you never know what the heck it was. I avoid politics, I only state facts (like tax incentives being a reason certain fuels here are so much cheaper - not political at all, it's a fact)
So nice - you get an F but have no idea what you said!
