A few years back I was living in Florida and took off the hard top off my old Jeep so I could have the new soft top installed. The weather report called for 0% rain and there was not a cloud in the sky when I left home.

On my way to the shop on Interstate 95 caught in traffic a standard Florida deluge opened up for about 15 mins. Fun to have 3 lanes of people all staring at you getting drowned 🤣
Florida: the state of bipolar weather and even crazier men...I mean "FLORIDA MAN!"

Brave! I took my driver side freedom panel off (for the first time) on the drive home Friday night. Under cloudy skies, 52º temps and the threat of rain. I was nervous.

But I took it off near home and had it stowed behind my seat for a quick re-install in case Mother Nature wanted to mess with me! Made it all the way home just fine. 😊 Can’t wait to do it again!
Eh, I took the freedom panels off during the winter a few times even when it was only 45* out. The looks were kinda interesting, idk why but people looked upset, HOW DARE I ENJOY MY VEHICLE when THEY CAN'T!

Gottcha. Figured you knew this but some don’t. I was told by a fridge repair guy the new ones don’t need that adjustment time.
You know they just say that so you'll call them back in a couple years at most when it fails. My grandparents just got a new fridge and it's physically bigger than the last but less usable space, and the damn door WON'T STAY OPEN.

For the doors, if they found some pieces in the extra parts bag that look like a C shaped washer it’s to adjust the settings of the door. I had the same thing happen to me and figured out that those will help “balance” the door in between the upper and lower pins.

Krawlin the South with Rock Krawler the last two days at Windrock Park, was my shakedown/break in run with the new engine and suspension.
I think I saw every possible DTC yesterday as it relearned shifting in 4WD with a new engine/transmission combo.
Ran great, few small kinks to work out -

Normally I'd agree, but I wasn't there when it was setup, and my family is so dysfunctional you could literally show them how to do something the only way it works, they'd still tell you you're wrong, then get mad at YOU for allowing them to do it and break something. Then they'll hold a grudge for life due to that one thing.

Not worth the drama.

I did something similar, completely removed my top so I could transport a tree that the wife wanted from her brother's house to mine. Parked at work and took the company truck out to the field. Bright sunny day while we were working. Drove back to the main building and ran into a monsoon. It had been raining all day like that at work. 7 hours of pouring rain into the Jeep. Still had to go get the tree and then pick my son up from school. Pulled into the car line and his teacher opened the back door to let him get into his car seat. Water poured out the door as soon as she opened it. I looked like a drowned rat. Big fruit tree sitting in the back of the wrangler. I just looked at her and said, "I think I overwatered the tree." of course it hadn't rained at his school all day either. Took 3 days to dry out the carpets.

Finally was able to take my roof off on Saturday and install my Red Rock Sun Shade and then Sunday took the family on an little over an hour ride one way to a national park and did some hiking for about 15 miles. I love that my 7 year old loves walking/hiking and more so she loved the truck with the roof off as much as I did! I look forward to doing a lot more of this topless driving and next time getting to take the doors off as well. 😁

It was yesterday, but we took the borrowed boat on its maiden voyage with us. Went well.

Owner doesnt have much time to use it so said we are free to run it in exchange for helping with some maintenance and upkeep.

Yea we was joking that what little time he gets to use it he'll be able to just hook up and go 😂

All good. Learning what I do and dont want when I get ready to buy my own.
