CP4 Fuel Pump EcoDiesel Recall

Don't remember the exact build date but somewhere between Feb-april 2022. Jeep was delivered to dealer in April.

Rip, mine was Dec 21 build, yet I'm not listed. Thinking more and more like I'll have to insure this myself with a tune.

It's not just the dealers or auto repair....I feel it's humans in general. I have zero patience or tolerance for mediocrity either, so that amplifies the irritation for me.

I agreed with this. Cost of everything are so high nowadays. Many has to chooses a career that are able to pays the bills and not what they actually likes or wanted to do, along with the flat rates. Passionate, quality and prides in the works are usually out the window.

Here is a intresting alternate to the CP3 that has just showed up to market. Not marketed for the ecoD but it is a replacement for the CP4.2 which is what we also have. Would need to make some custom mounting brackets and connections...but it might work.

Got my jeep from the dealer... again. Apparently one of the new fuel injectors was leaking at the base and faulty from the supplier. They replaced it this morning and test drove it several times and no more leaking. Hopefully that is it and I can enjoy my jeep again.

Right on, I reached back out to them just now to re-offer my truck (they are 1 hour from me) and told them a hoard of EcoD owners are looking for a solution.

Vendor that was unregister would be my guess. He was GDE after all.

Banning knowledge for greed kind of sucks. Not great image for however owns this forum in my books. Maybe I missed the posts he was openly selling GDE over and over but usually I remember mostly good insight on the EcoD and that’s all?
Surely he had multiple warnings before and ignored them, right? ?
