Yes, Tesla’s, Rivian’s and a 4XE…. I drive 500+ miles a day and EV’s aren’t cost effective.Have you driven one?
If those three were the ones I’d driven I might not like them either.Yes, Tesla’s, Rivian’s and a 4XE…. I drive 500+ miles a day and EV’s aren’t cost effective.
Rivian received a ton of government money, and I heard today that they are already going broke.Rivian’s
I've been hearing Rivian is going broke for 5 years.Rivian received a ton of government money, and I heard today that they are already going broke.
The government gave them a whopping $6.6 billion loan about a year ago, so it's rather shocking they are struggling. I heard today that their stock is dropping and they are losing investors. There's a lot of skepticism and apparently Rivian isn't meeting their goals.I've been hearing Rivian is going broke for 5 years.
Sad but true.Rivian received a ton of government money, and I heard today that they are already going broke.

Plus, Rivian's declining deliveries are so far below expectations that investors are now questioning their solvency. They just laid off 600 workers a few months ago. They made news again today because their shares were plunging.Their cash burn rate is astonishing.
Yeah, it's sad to see the US taxpayers losing money, yet again.Plus, Rivian's declining deliveries are so far below expectations that investors are now questioning their solvency. They just laid off 600 workers a few months ago. They made news again today because their shares were plunging.
Yep. That is what kept me from waiting any longer for getting solar on the house.Nah, the #1 reason - Rebates
Take away the rebates and make people pay the actual cost, and it's no longer popular.
What a lot of people don't realize is that you could apply the rebate to purchases as well as leases. So that $7500 immediately became your down payment on a lease. Jeep was running 24 month leases, so a cap reduction of $7500 for only 24 months made a huge difference.Nah, the #1 reason - Rebates

How many trips could it possibly have saved? 1 maybe.our has functioned as intended and saved my wife a lot of trips to the gas pump. A couple of years ago she went 500 miles in about 3 months and it took just under 10 gallons to fill it. That's one fill in months - in 500 miles.
