Don’t drill it. Take your time and Do it right. I see so many posts about people “re-engineering” Rustys parts because they don’t install them properly. If the folks at rustys read this forum they must shake their head.

Well the folks at Rustys told me I had to drill out the small holes on the frame bracket after connecting the large control arm bolt to align the skid plate.

I spent the better half of Saturday afternoon trying to install my tri-fold bed cover from Rugged Ridge.
Main problem was the m6 bolts that came with the kit, didn't fit the holes in the bulkhead nor the holes on the side of the bed where you cut the plastic pieces out.
Those bolts are actually
12x24-5/8 and not M6.

After figuring out this issue, the installation was easy.

Just got done getting the ARB twin compressor installed behind the rear seat with the 813 Fabrication rear seat install kit. Actually, I also deleted the rear seat, prepping to build a platform back there. Ran the wiring originally up the passenger side, but had way too much hassle getting through the firewall. Pulled it out, ran it up the driver's side, easy peasy. I'll get some pics later, but I'm beat right now.

285/70R17 Duratracs installed. Everything stock. Putting in Teraflex 1.5” leveling kit next week. Also removed ugly air dam plastic but kept the metal mounting plate as I think it looks pretty good and at least offers a bit of protection. Between bigger tires and removal of air dam, only went down about 1 mpg, but I have a diesel too.

This looks great! Has me reconsidering 35s

I agonized for a long time over what type of fire extinguisher mount (and what size extinguisher) would fit best in my Gladiator. Ended up with the H3R 2.5 lb Halguard clean agent extinguisher strapped on with the Badass mount.

Over the weekend, I swapped out the N-FAB nerf rails for the Quadratec Brute Strength Side Steps and love them, very solid and seemingly well-made. The kids have no issues using the slightly higher step surface and it’s been good in the rain so far. Sorry for the potato pics, been raining here nonstop.

Thanks man. I have a very low garage height of about 75” so I had to choose between 35s and no lift or 33s and 1.5” leveling kit. Happy with my choice and leveling kit isn’t even on yet.
