I went 35s and have no regrets. However my 35s apparently weigh like 75lbs per tire. Getting a heavy duty track bar soon.

After reading through all of this I think the assumption that a 37 inch tire will inherently cause more wear than a 35 is overly simplified. It’s really about mass. The BFG KO2’s being on the lighter side of the 37’s, weighing less than many 35’s, should not cause more wear as long as they aren’t rubbing.

I’m personally still on the fence and appreciate the open discussion in this thread.

In my experience, 2.5" is plenty for 37s. I'm running Evo's 2.5" with 38s and wheel it. @Renegade has Daystar's 2" and 37s and wheels his pretty hard. Pics for reference.

Great looking. Whats your overall height with your 2.5" lift and 38's? I am leaning towards 2.5" lift with 37's but want to be sure itll still fit in my garage.

Just for comparison this is 2.75 inches on 37s, converted to rubicon fenders. I'm a sport s.

I mounted them up Saturday and at 35psi(haven’t chalked them yet)
they are 35 1/2in front and 35 3/4in rear. They also only weigh 68lbs I believe. That was one of the reasons I chose them.

seems they are more of a middle ground 36in tire in reality. Still like them a lot!

36.25 inches at 37psi

36 inches at 33 psi.

Thx, and yes to some extent. But I got good at calling around and getting discounts through usps. I pay about 100 dollars for any 1 large item to ship here. Or use the dealer, they get airfreight cheap.

i started with 35's also, the 37's are the correct proportion for these trucks imo, lost a few bucks making the swap of course

wish you could order the axle ratios you want when doing a factory order, as upgrading to 4.88's should be standard when you go to 37's, what a difference! worth every penny

so doing it right is definitely an investment, try to do it right the first time, 37's, 4.88's, mopar lift plus 3/4"-1.5" leveling pucks up front at minimum on the lift, with heavy front bumper and winch go 1.5' pucks additional up front, stock bumper go 3/4" pucks up front

I went 37s. Gas milage was not a big deal and I am slowly upgrading all my parts as well. All new suspension, track bars, steering stabilizer, drag link, control arms. In the next couple months I will have 4.88 gears and new drive shaft.
