hello. i have the AEV 2" spacer lift for the Mojave as well as the AEV brackets that i'm planning to install. i've noticed people saying that the 190ft-lbs of torque for some items is a bear to do in the driveway (where i'll be working). i'm pretty new to doing this kind of work...would an impact wrench help? or, do you have to use a torque wrench for it? thanks in advance for the enlightenment.
An impact will definitely help to get the bolts run down and started but you’re going to want to complete final torque with a torque wrench. Make sure you have something to use as a backup wrench too. Some of the bolts will be difficult to get to with an impact gun unless you have a stubby one or some impact swivels, or both.

I just finished this lift and the Rancho geo brackets with arm in center hole as I have read on here. The steering feels a bit loose with a slight bit of wander. Anyone have any ideas? AEV steering stabilizer or use a different hole? Been running 37's all summer and did not notice anything before.

I’d check the alignment first before buying anything additional.

I think things have settled in nicely, it seems to be driving good. I thought I would include the alignment numbers. I questioned whether they thought the caster was too high, I could always switch to a different hole. They said they would probably leave it alone. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Your caster is probably a little high. Try driving in 4WD down the road and you’ll likely get a vibration around 45MPH due to the pinion angle unless you’ve changed drive lines. I miscalculated my caster and got a vibration in the drive line and I was about 8 degrees. I have my caster at just over 6 degrees on both my gladiators and my wrangler and it seems to handle well. Just my experience and your may work perfectly with more caster.

IIRC, I used the ‘middle’ one and ended up right on target.
@Viper501, did the middle setting give the 6 deg caster? I'm shooting for 6 deg and can't tell from the thread whether that's the middle or last setting.

Did the middle position and got what the printout shows. 4.8 and 5.2. It drives fine that way.

I too have it on the middle and it drives pretty awesome. Can’t imagine it being better.

Middle hole seems to be the sweet spot for Mojave with 2" AEV.
Only other thing I added was a drive line spacer and adjusted the play in the steering gearbox.
Make sure your toe is set right and that the steering wheel is centered properly.
My 35" K02'S seem to love 27-28 cold.

I’m still trying to figure out the pressures on my KO2’s as well. Always something.

Have any pics of your ride? Running 35 KO’s also and wondering what it will look like after the lift. Hopefully adding my front bumper and winch this coming week while I’m off. Then the lift comes next. Probably have a shop do it for me due to work schedule and lack of time.
